Whenever he went to the Star Dou Great Forest, he would prepare plenty of metal. During the day, he conducted research and made Soul Tools inside the Time and Space Divine Tower.

These twenty ray guns were the fruits of his work during this period, averaging one completed each day.

As the program started, the entire production line began operating. The furnace heated the iron block until it glowed red, after which hammers began pounding and forging it.

After several hundred strikes, the metal had shrunk considerably in volume, and it then entered the cutting stage.

The metal was cut into long strips before being heated and forged again, this round of forging mainly being for shaping.

The long strips of metal were forged into different shapes. Once shaping was complete, they entered the Soul Guiding Array inscription stage.

The robotic arms began inscribing the corresponding arrays onto the metal according to their settings, with Soul Power being injected during the process.

"These past few years of effort haven't been in vain after all." Jing Chen played with the first-level Soul Tool in his hand.

This Soul Tool was extraordinarily significant. It meant that he had turned assembly-line Soul Tool production into reality.

Another half hour later, the second Soul Tool was produced, followed by the third and fourth.

The hundred jin of metal produced a total of eight Soul Tools, taking more than four hours.

This production efficiency was extremely high. If the line ran nonstop around the clock, it could produce more than forty in a day.

First-level Soul Tools could now be mass-produced. What Jing Chen needed to consider next was how to achieve mass production of second-level, third-level, and even higher-level Soul Tools.

As the saying went, all things were difficult at the beginning. He had already made a good start, so the problems that followed would be comparatively easier to solve.

To mass-produce higher-level Soul Tools, he merely needed to find a way to enable the robotic arms to inscribe more complex arrays.

Of the two, his Mecha research had progressed the most smoothly. After all, when he was on Blue Star, he had been a Mecha master proficient in all kinds of Mechas.

He understood Mecha principles extremely well. After arriving in this world, the problems he faced in trying to build a Mecha could be summed up in just two points.

The first was creating a body-sensing system from scratch, the key to synchronizing a Mecha's movements with its user's.

He had considered using control levers to control the Mecha, but that would make its structure far more complicated and increase the workload.

Rather than that, it would be better to develop a simple sensing system. Though research and development would be more difficult, later production would become much easier.

The second problem was the Mecha's energy source. On Blue Star, Mechas generally used electricity, though some used nuclear energy.

But in this world, neither electricity nor nuclear energy would likely allow a Mecha to possess extraordinary power.

He had to rely on Soul Power, with its special properties. How to naturally convert Soul Power into a Mecha's strength was the problem he needed to solve.

After several years of research, he had found solutions for both problems and put them into practice.

At present, he had completed more than half of the body-sensing system. In another year or two at most, he would be able to create a complete sensing system.

He had also finished designing the Soul Power conversion device and planned to begin building it after some time.

His progress with Mechas had been relatively rapid. He had certainly encountered many difficulties, but he had resolved them one by one.
