"You could consider taking my surname, Jing, with Snow as your given name. Jing Xue," Jing Chen suggested.
"Jing Xue?" Snow Empress softly repeated the name and found it acceptable.
"Though it is not as pleasant as the other name I had in mind, it will do. This one, then." Snow Empress nodded slightly.
"From now on, when you are before humans, call yourself Jing Xue. Do not refer to yourself as Snow Empress."
"Also, you need to change the way you refer to yourself as 'this Empress.' That would be a glaring flaw too."
Jing Chen did not expose Snow Empress's lack of talent for naming things and seriously reminded her instead.
Snow Empress was proud, but not blindly so. After Jing Chen's reminder, she realized there was indeed an issue with how she addressed herself.
She did not insist on calling herself "this Empress" and agreed to change. It was not because she blindly obeyed Jing Chen, but because she judged matters on their merits.
