Final Thoughts

No feast lasts forever. Dear readers, though it pains me to say it, Dragon Phoenix Legend has come to an end. Yun Ze's story in the Douluo World is over; it is time to say goodbye.

In truth, if I wanted to keep writing, I certainly could have. I could have turned it into a Multiverse Stream and written in detail about Yun Ze leaving Douluo for other worlds. That way, this book could have gone on for at least another six hundred chapters, perhaps even more.

But after giving it some thought, I chose not to do that. Dragon Phoenix Legend is a Douluo fanfiction. Since the Douluo story has ended, this book should end as well. There was no need to force it onward; I did not want to sell dog meat under a cow's head.

Sometimes, moderation is best. I felt it was best for Yun Ze's story to end when he left the Douluo World. If I kept going on at length, it would instead have the opposite effect, and that was not what I wanted to see.

Later, I will write some side stories to tell everyone about Yun Ze's experiences after leaving the Douluo World. Yun Ze's parents and the women he loved will make brief appearances then, and his relationship with Gu Yue Na will also finally be settled. I will even write some readers into the story as characters, which can count as an Easter egg. Please look forward to it. It will only be a few tens of thousands of words, but it should still be quite exciting. I do not think it will disappoint you.
