Beneath the cliff.
That description wasn't quite right.
If it had to be described, only a word like abyss could convey what one felt upon entering it.
In the void hung an incomparably enormous fissure.
Too vast—far too vast.
Words simply could not describe it. The chasm stretched out from beneath their feet, extending and extending, its end nowhere in sight.
The walls on either side of the chasm were equally immense, broad to an unbelievable extent.
A Celestial Immortal's vision was terrifying. A distance of ten thousand li could be taken in at a glance; even the patterns on an ant's legs could be seen with perfect clarity. With Dao arts and divine abilities, one could see even farther. Standing beneath the vault of heaven, without any instruments at all, one could pierce through the sky and gaze directly into the universe. Even stars several light-years away could be seen clearly, and the scene beneath those stars could be discerned.
Such vision was astonishing. It could not only magnify, but also shrink its focus. Even layers of bacteria too tiny to see could be directly captured by the naked eye, with no texture able to escape notice; even the atomic level could be perceived.
Yet even with such vision, the width of this colossal chasm was still too immense for Li Su and the others who had entered it, leaving their sight almost blurred.
They could only vaguely make out the barriers of the chasm. Terrifying energy flowed there, streaming downward.
No matter how many words were used, they could not describe the scene of this dreadful chasm at this moment.
There was only one feeling: if a map of the Milky Way were placed before them now, this chasm would be capable of piercing through the entire galaxy
