"Two more of each," Geralt said with a chuckle, holding out his hand.

"Heh," Kraun replied, baring his teeth in a grin. The last time he made talismans, he'd used up half his reserves of Sunfire Liquid and Moon Dew, barely managing to produce seventy-two Heart-Clearing Talismans and forty-two Golden Light Talismans.

They represented nearly a month's worth of his Visualization practice. Though his growing proficiency had helped him gather materials faster, he couldn't just give them away like this.

As it turned out, talismans were immensely useful now that the Gray Fog had descended. Their effects at warding off evil and calming the mind were far stronger than Holy Water's.

He'd originally said he'd sell them for one Gold Shield each. He'd really gotten screwed on that deal.

"I'll give you another Golden Light Talisman to cleanse your flesh. If you want to buy more talismans, they're ten Gold Shields apiece."

"Ten times the price? You're greedier than a Vampire!" The Witcher nearly jumped out of his seat.

"They work well, and I'm the only one selling them. I think they're worth the price." Kraun took out a Golden Light Talisman and handed it to the Witcher.

The free sample had worked better than expected. Raising the price wasn't unreasonable, was it?!

He waved the two of them off. "I'm going back to brew some potions. Once my skills improve, I'll try making Grasses Potion. Come get me at noon to cook."

Kraun didn't head straight back to his room to brew potions. Instead, he went outside the church and found Old Hans.

The herb gatherer said in delight, "Master, I haven't seen you for days. I thought you'd stopped buying herbs."
