"I'm going."
On the Chaos Ancient Clan's side, a slender figure covered in bone spikes made its way toward the arena, step by step.
That thing had no concept of standing upright.
Its four limbs braced against the ground in an extremely contorted posture.
Its forelimbs were long and thick, its hind limbs short and curled. Its entire torso resembled a flattened, misshapen rock as it slowly squirmed forward against the ground.
Bone spikes covered its entire body, jutting out through its flesh in varying lengths and thicknesses.
Some were only the size of a finger joint.
Others were several feet long.
Their tips had a dull, grayish-white sheen, their surfaces covered in fine cracks like a stretch of shattered stone that had been hammered over and over.
Dried, dark-red flesh and unidentified debris were lodged in the gaps between the bone spikes, giving off a thick, bloody stench.
Its head grew between its forelimbs, set so low that it almost touched the ground.
That head looked as though it had been pieced together from a smashed bone fragment.
A sunken eye socket lay on either side, two balls of ghostly green fire burning within them.
There were no pupils, no whites, only two clusters of green flames flickering in the darkness.
Its mouth stretched across its entire lower jaw, the opening absurdly wide.
Two rows of uneven fangs jutted out from the opening, each like a shard of shattered bone china.
They varied in length and angle, some even growing backward and piercing its own flesh.
It crawled with an extremely slow, heavy gait.
Every time a forelimb reached forward, its five bone claws gouged five deep scratches into the ground.
Its hind limbs then laboriously dragged its entire body forward.
The bone spikes on its body trembled gently
