The two of them had actually outmaneuvered him this badly. He didn't want to keep showing off alone.
Still, Devil Abyss wasn't wrong. Those three really did have something going for them.
He was a dignified peak Saint, yet he still couldn't take down three early-stage Saints. Worse, he'd even been caught off guard.
He was both confused and furious.
"We're finished! What do we do?"
"You're asking me? Who am I supposed to ask? I want to know what we should do, too."
The two kept retreating, sending each other transmissions as they went, but in the end, they failed to exchange anything useful.
"Die."
Devil Fury raised his hand and swung his palm at them.
A huge black palm print hurtled toward the pair, composed entirely of demonic energy and terrifying beyond measure.
The two exchanged a glance, Immortal Qi surging through their bodies as they tried to block the attack.
But reality was cruel. They hadn't managed to hold out for long before they were blasted away.
Their bodies struck the earth like kites with severed strings, kicking up a vast cloud of dust as a mushroom cloud rose into the air.
"Die."
Devil Fury threw another punch. He was determined to kill the two of them today, while the army in the distance could only watch helplessly as he prepared to beat them to death.
There was nothing they could do to help. In front of such powerful opponents, no matter how many of them charged in, they'd only be throwing their lives away. One man in, one man dead.
"It's over. I only just became an immortal."
"I've been an immortal for less than five years. Am I going to die already? Such is fate, I suppose. It seems the future doesn't belong to me.
