The formation of all worlds seemed to have been personally ordained by the Great Dao. Once a new world came into being, it was created instantly. Afterward, it was governed by the Heavenly Dao, giving birth to living beings and beginning its cycle of operation.

They were like dead planets.
These things were world embryos, the failed products of a world's development.
Yet such things could still become true worlds. Even if they were the Great Dao's failed works of art, they were still things the Great Dao itself had touched.
However, forming into a world required an incomparably long time. Only after countless hundreds of millions of years would there be the faintest chance.
During that interval, the myriad Dao would slowly evolve.
That was why world embryos were so sought after. Once something became entangled with the Dao, even Primordial Unity Golden Immortals had to lower their gaze.
