Leading the three of them, Ye Lin skirted around the Tree of Death before him and headed deeper into Silent Ridge.
Silent Ridge was terrifying by all accounts, but to Ye Lin, it was still not enough.
"This place must be home to an enormous number of living beings, and there are no Quasi-Saints here. More importantly, it is cut off from the outside world. Even if I slaughtered every living being in this place, no one would come looking for trouble with me."
"But what method could I use to move all of Silent Ridge into the secret realm?"
As he walked, Ye Lin stroked his chin in thought.
He also wanted to use Silent Ridge to trade some resources with the Spirit King.
In truth, along the way, he had had many opportunities to hunt living beings and exchange them with the Spirit King for resources, but Ye Lin had not done so.
The reason was simple: there were too few of them. Even if he did it, the profit would be too small. He could not be bothered with it.
Moreover, the consequence of doing so was that he might accidentally provoke someone with a powerful background. He was already fleeing disaster; if he offended someone with backing, that would be a disaster.
All in all, the risks outweighed the benefits, so Ye Lin had not done it.
But now, things were different.
Silent Ridge was like an isolated land cut off from the entirety of Sunset Prefecture. With the Endless Icefield blocking the way ahead, Silent Ridge was completely beyond the jurisdiction of any force in Sunset Prefecture.
And there were no Quasi-Saint experts within it.
More importantly, even if all of Silent Ridge vanished, it probably would not draw the attention of many powerful experts.
