At the very center of the sphere of light, a crystal-clear, multifaceted crystal slowly rotated, as though it contained every color in the world while remaining incomparably pure.
This thing was precisely an Origin Crystal.
The four walls of the spherical space were formed from countless enormous crystals as smooth as mirrors. They reflected the central sphere of light and the figures of the group in layer upon layer, as though countless identical spaces had been nested together.
A single glance was enough to make one dizzy.
"We found it. This must be the Origin Crystal, right?"
Blade Fanatic narrowed his eyes at the sphere of light before him and spoke slowly.
"It should be the Origin Crystal, but there's something off about this place."
Ye Lin said.
Ye Lin swept his gaze around.
The longer he looked, the more he noticed something was wrong.
At first, the reflections on those crystal walls showed nothing unusual.
But upon closer inspection, he discovered that some of the reflections seemed to move out of sync with their actual bodies.
Some reflections were sneering coldly, some were assuming attacking stances, and one reflected "Ye Lin" was silently approaching the central sphere of light, reaching out for the Origin Crystal.
"Are these things illusions? Or replicas?"
Ye Lin frowned.
He had encountered things like this before.
Generally speaking, most of them were illusions, or copies created through some method.
But if one looked closely, there were still slight differences.
Now, even Ye Lin could not make a judgment.
What exactly were these things?
"They're Mirror Demons."
Ye Lin turned toward the voice. The one who had spoken was Iron Hammer.
"These Mirror Demons can replicate the appearance and part of the abilities of intruders. They can even replicate part of their cultivation."
