Long Aotian looked at Ye Lin with a serious expression.

He placed considerable importance on Ye Lin's opinion.

Because Ye Lin's strength warranted such importance.

Because he respected the strong.

"Of course we should go in and take a look."

"But to avoid danger, we should enter together and not get separated."

Looking at the Dao Sect before them, Ye Lin spoke.

They had already come this far—how could they possibly turn back halfway?

For him, there was no such thing as giving up halfway.

Since he had come, he could not possibly make this trip for nothing.

"Alright, I'll listen to you."

Faced with Ye Lin's answer, Long Aotian nodded lightly and smiled.

The group headed toward the Dao Sect.

The void beneath their feet became solid ground the instant they stepped forward.

It was a transparent surface like glass, through which they could clearly see things swimming in the depths of the void below.

Those creatures were enormous. Some resembled whales, some pythons, some dragons, yet none of them were quite any of those things.

Their bodies were semi-transparent, light flowing within them as they drifted slowly through the void, graceful and ancient.

Ye Lin lowered his head for a glance.

A colossal creature happened to swim directly beneath him. He had no idea how many li away it was, yet its body was so vast that even from such a distance, it filled Ye Lin's entire field of vision.

It was a whale-like creature, but a mountain grew from its back, covered in trees. The trees swayed in the void, starlight glimmering amid their branches and leaves.

Its eyes were enormous, like two moons. There were no pupils within them, only an expanse of profound blue.

That blue slowly flowed, like the ocean, and like the sky.
