Six dull booms rang out almost simultaneously.
Six enormous wounds were carved across Yuan Sha's body.
From his left shoulder to his right waist, from his chest and abdomen to his back, from his thighs to his calves.
Every wound was deep enough to expose bone. Dark-red blood spurted forth like a fountain, burned by the demonic flames in the air into clusters of ghostly green fire.

The terrifying laws within the Coiling Dragon Pillar surged fiercely, emitting a piercing hum.
He lowered his head and looked at the wounds covering his body.
There were many wounds. They were deep. They hurt.

The cracked scorch marks all over his body expanded at once. The fissures grew deeper and wider, and his entire body resembled a porcelain vessel about to shatter as something inside forced it apart.
Dark-red magma surged from within his body, tearing those cracks completely open and revealing an entirely new body beneath.
That body was a head taller than before, already exceeding ten feet.
It was no longer covered in cracked scorch marks, but encased in a layer of smooth, mirror-like dark-red crystal armor. Fine golden patterns flowed across its surface.
The arrangement of those patterns bore a seventy-percent resemblance to the Heavenly Dao laws sealed within the Arena's Coiling Dragon Pillar.
The shape of his head had changed as well, his facial contours becoming squarer and harder.
