Just as little Nannan was about to leave, a black shadow suddenly flashed past. Before she could jump up, she found a hand already gripping her ankle in an iron hold.
The hand clutched her ankle like an eagle's talon, leaving her utterly unable to move.
Then the person holding her tied up both her legs and feet, binding her entire body into a twisted knot.
The newcomer wore black clothes and a black bamboo hat. Once he was done, little Nannan was ruthlessly thrown onto the ground.
"Three grown men couldn't even handle one little girl. Shameful. Get back to work, and don't let anything else go wrong."
After the man in the black bamboo hat spoke, the three burly men hurriedly nodded. One of them then hoisted little Nannan onto his shoulder and carried her away.
"Forget it, brothers. Let's just do our work properly. If anything else goes wrong, the ones who die will be us."
The burly man carrying little Nannan tossed her onto a huge chopping block. Seeing the greedy looks in his two companions' eyes, he could not help frowning as he rebuked them.
There was something strange about this little girl. If another accident happened, the three of them would be the ones to die.
Hearing his warning, the other two forcibly suppressed their greed and nodded.
Then the three raised the long blades in their hands, intending to chop little Nannan into minced meat.
Roar.
Just as they were about to strike, a terrifying roar rang through the entire city. The ground beneath the whole city trembled under that roar.
Frightened out of their wits, the three burly men dropped their long blades onto the ground, then looked up at the majestic figure in the sky.
"Damn it, what kind of terrifying
