After Lieutenant Carter ordered a sweep and recovery operation, the story shifted to Horus, who had captured a Hydra base in Sokovia and discovered a female experimental subject with weak Psionic Power potential.

• The Carcharodons broke through Wakanda’s holographic camouflage and neutralized its anti-air defenses while flying toward the city.
• A pirate fighter dropped a Plasma Bomb that destroyed Wakanda’s protective shield, though the urban district largely survived.
• Auxilia soldiers landed, killed armed Wakandans who resisted, and secured the plaza while engineering robots searched for the vibranium vein.
• The engineering foreman told Lieutenant Carter that the vibranium came from a meteorite and that the team had also found Heart-Shaped Herb; Carter ordered them to take whatever they deemed useful.

• The transport formation flew over Anlin and landed in the palace plaza, drawing crowds and the emperor.

Horus and El Cid went to Vormir to seize an Infinity Stone, but Thanos’s ship arrived by coincidence and was destroyed by the Yandu-class Escort Ship. Thanos and his surviving army prepared to fight as Horus led the 2nd Company of Terminators into battle.

• El Cid left Sisters of Battle on the Song Empire’s planet and joined Horus aboard the Ark to review the civilizations of the Zero-Five Universe.
