Once Ye Zhao got her hands on a smartphone, she swiped through it incessantly, even while eating. After finishing her daily studies, she realized it was already eleven or twelve at night. Despite the noisy surroundings outside, her ability to block out distractions was decent; she simply tossed the phone aside and fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, a powerful sense of crisis washed over Ye Zhao, making her scalp tingle and jolting her awake from her dream. Her instinct for impending danger caused her to instinctively roll to the side. Immediately after, a loud bang echoed as something plummeted from the sky, smashing straight through her tent.

"Qin Ruo?" The last time Ye Zhao had seen Qin Ruo was during the Gravity Imbalance game, and they hadn't crossed paths since. She hadn't expected to meet her again like this. She was still breathing; she wasn't dead.
However,
