Ye Zhao followed Lei Feng's example, doing good deeds without leaving her name behind. She came quietly and left quietly.

But the moment she left the Taoist temple, that heavy feeling returned. She created 20 Exorcism Talismans and stuck them to her forehead. Then, as she went, she placed Three Pure Ones Statues along the main road. The statues helped a little; within ten meters of one, she felt much lighter.

Ye Zhao sprinted all the way back to the Buddhist temple where she had encountered the massacre earlier. The ground had been strewn with corpses and drenched in blood, but now survivors had reclaimed the place. She had no idea where the bodies had been taken. Ye Zhao hopped onto the roof and, just like before, scanned the statues. Of course, she didn't forget to scan the survivors for any game items she didn't already have, either.

After finishing her scans, she left 1,000 Creation Points' worth of supplies in the temple storeroom, then slipped away.
