Chapter Summaries

Dehya brought Dunyarzad to Gandharva Ville, where Nahida cured her Eleazar and the group prepared to travel to the desert. Dunyarzad stayed behind with Collei, while Alhaitham joined Nahida, Dehya, and the others as they set out.

• Dehya carried Dunyarzad to Gandharva Ville and asked Tighnari whether he could cure Eleazar.
• Nahida gave Dunyarzad Spirit Spring Water, and Dunyarzad recovered from Eleazar.
• Tighnari told Dehya that Nahida needed a guide to the desert, and Dehya agreed to accompany her.
• Alhaitham warned that the Akademiya might seize Dunyarzad if it learned she was cured, so Dunyarzad agreed to stay in Gandharva Ville with Collei.
• Aether and Stelle roasted a Fungi Boar while March 7th entertained the Six Little Ones with an adventure story.
• Nahida called the group to leave for the desert, and Alhaitham agreed to go with them.

Ye Yun’s group rescued Rana but left Aether with her and spent the day traveling through Sumeru, while The Doctor tracked Nahida’s Dendro traces and continued preparations to make Scaramouche a god. Back on the train, Elio and Pom-Pom fought after mistaking each other for a stray animal, and Ye Yun’s group arrived to find the fight still raging.

• Aether rescued Rana from Fungi Beasts, and Ye Yun hurried away with the others, leaving Aether to escort her to her village.
• Ye Yun took everyone back to the train for the night after they spent the day sightseeing through the rainforest.
• The Doctor learned that Nahida had cured Eleazar patients in Gandharva Ville and followed the Dendro traces she left behind.
• The Doctor and Azar continued the God Creation Project, with Scaramouche inside a giant mecha powered by the Dendro Archon’s Gnosis.
• Elio and Pom-Pom fought after Pom-Pom mistook Elio for a stray cat, while others recorded and cheered them on.
• Ye Yun and the others returned to the train, where Firefly separated Elio and Pom-Pom as they continued to argue.

Stelle summoned Jing Yuan, Jingliu, Blade, and Imbibitor Lunae Dan Heng after The Doctor threatened to capture Bailu for research. They destroyed one of The Doctor’s segments and split up to hunt for the others as Ye Yun’s group continued toward Aaru Village.

• Stelle and Xiangling put three Shroomboars in Stelle’s pocket dimension, while March 7th agreed to catch a fungus creature for Topaz.
• Himeko arranged rooms for Nahida, Dehya, and Alhaitham, and Ye Yun took the exhausted Six Little Ones to bed.
• The next morning, The Doctor confronted Nahida and threatened to take Bailu as a test subject.
• Stelle recorded The Doctor’s threat and summoned Jing Yuan, Jingliu, Blade, and Imbibitor Lunae Dan Heng through a portal.
• Jingliu and Blade destroyed The Doctor’s segment, and Jing Yuan sent the four of them in different directions to search for his other segments.
• Ye Yun’s group continued their journey toward Aaru Village while the four hunters pursued The Doctor.

Jingliu killed The Doctor at the Tsaritsa's Palace, prompting Barnabas to travel to Liyue for answers. Meanwhile, Ye Yun's group reached Aaru Village, where Nahida bought a Tree of Life to begin improving life for the Desert Dwellers.

• Barnabas ordered The Jester to stop the Captain from collecting Gnosis and halt Fatui operations related to them.
• Jingliu broke through the palace roof, declared she had come to kill The Doctor, and slew him with a swift sword strike.
• Barnabas left The Jester and The Maiden in charge of Snezhnaya and flew toward Liyue Harbor to ask Asmoday about Jingliu.
• Ye Yun's group sandboarded down the desert slope, continued to Aaru Village, and met village chief Candace.
• Nahida told Candace she wanted to improve the lives of the Desert Dwellers and asked Ye Yun to buy a Tree of Life with her Primogems.

Nahida planted the Tree of Life in Aaru Village, transforming the surrounding desert into grassland filled with plants and fresh water. After Aether rallied the grateful Desert Dwellers to help her reclaim her divine throne, Nahida awoke to find Aaru Village packed with mercenaries as Azar’s forces marched toward them.

• Nahida planted the Tree of Life sapling in Aaru Village and used her divine power to grow it into a towering tree.
• The Tree of Life transformed the village’s rocky surroundings into grassland, flowers, trees, a spring, and a waterfall, and the villagers and mercenaries thanked Nahida.
• Nahida collapsed into a deep sleep, and Aether told the people that the Grand Sage had imprisoned her before rallying them to help her reclaim her divine throne.
• The Desert Mercenaries left to gather reinforcements, and by the next day Aaru Village was crowded with fighters as Aether arranged defenses.
• Nahida awoke on the Tree of Life’s branch while Azar led most of the Corps of Thirty toward Caravan Ribat, intending to attack Aaru Village and capture her.

Aether gathered desert mercenaries in Aaru Village to defend Nahida and the Tree of Life against the Grand Sage’s faction. While Stelle, March 7th, and Firefly raced Pack Beasts to Caravan Ribat, Stelle defeated Corps of Thirty mercenaries who tried to arrest them, but a boy in a Dog-Head Hat blocked their way.

• Aether showed Rahman the truth about Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, and Rahman brought his mercenary group to support Nahida.
• Aether assigned defensive zones to the mercenaries as Nahida learned that the people had gathered to help her confront the Grand Sage.
• Stelle, March 7th, and Firefly borrowed Pack Beasts from Rahman and raced from Aaru Village to Caravan Ribat.
• Corps of Thirty mercenaries tried to arrest the three after learning they had come from Aaru Village, and Stelle defeated them in seconds.
• A boy wearing a Dog-Head Hat appeared and told Stelle that she still could not leave.

Cyno pursued Alhaitham to Aaru Village but was captured by Stelle and brought before him. After seeing the village transformed by Nahida’s Tree of Life and learning that the Grand Sage’s Faction had imprisoned her, Cyno realized the Akademiya was the side committing rebellion; Nahida then asked Stelle to deal with a mech in Sumeru City.

• Cyno attacked Stelle after she mocked his dog-head hat, but she knocked him out and tied him to a Pack Beast.
• Alhaitham told the captured Cyno he was in Aaru Village and took him outside to see its thriving residents and the Tree of Life.
• Alhaitham explained that the mercenaries had gathered to protect Nahida’s tree and revealed that the Grand Sage’s Faction had imprisoned her.
• Cyno removed his Akasha System, and Alhaitham destroyed it before leaving Cyno to choose whether to stay or go.
• Nahida asked Stelle to deal with the mech Azar and the other sages were secretly building in Sumeru City, and Stelle agreed.

Nahida persuaded Alhaitham to consider becoming Grand Sage and transforming the desert, while Stelle and her companions met Sparkle in Aaru Village. Furina traveled from Fontaine to visit Nahida and arrived at the village with the Knights of Lancelot.

• Nahida offered Alhaitham a book about cultivating barren land and persuaded him to consider becoming Grand Sage to govern the desert.
• Stelle, March 7th, and Firefly met Sparkle in Aaru Village, where Sparkle said she had captured five of The Doctor's segments.
• Furina learned that Stelle and the others were in a desert village helping Nahida, then returned to Fontaine to assemble the Knights of Lancelot.
• Furina and the Knights traveled by flying carriage across the desert and arrived at Aaru Village more than two hours later.
• A mercenary challenged Furina, and Nahida stepped forward to tell the villagers that Furina was her friend.

Furina joined Nahida and the Desert Mercenaries, boosting their morale before the battle against the Corps of Thirty. Nahida and Furina trapped the enemy army, and Aether ordered the Desert Mercenaries to attack those who refused to surrender.

• Furina arrived at Aaru Village, reunited with Nahida, and went to meet Stelle, March 7th, and Firefly.
• Jing Yuan, Dan Heng, Blade, and Jingliu returned to the village after eliminating the enemies they had pursued, and Jingliu went to find Bailu.
• The next morning, the Corps of Thirty marched from Caravan Ribat, and Aether led the Desert Mercenaries out to face them.
• Nahida and Furina restrained the Corps of Thirty with Dendro vines and a water cage, while Aether offered them a chance to surrender.
• Most of the Corps of Thirty dropped their weapons, and Aether ordered the Desert Mercenaries to kill those who continued fighting.

After the Desert Mercenaries defeated the Corps of Thirty at Caravan Ribat, Furina’s forces headed for Sumeru City while Azar refused to believe the city was in danger. In Liyue Harbor, Barnabas told Asmoday that Jingliu had killed The Doctor, and learned the reason was The Doctor’s attempt to capture Bailu.

• A Corps of Thirty mercenary attacked Furina after the battle, but Lancelot killed him and Aether ordered Rahman to search the battlefield again.
• Aether led the Desert Mercenaries toward Sumeru City, while Furina traveled with Ye Yun, the Six Little Ones, Nahida, and the others.
• A mercenary told Azar that Caravan Ribat had fallen and the Desert Mercenaries were approaching, but Azar dismissed him as a spy and went to check on the God Creation Project.
• Scaramouche, close to becoming a god, vowed revenge against Beelzebul.
• Barnabas found Asmoday in the Liyue Harbor internet cafe and told her Jingliu had entered Snezhnaya and killed The Doctor.
• Asmoday called Hu Tao, who explained that Jingliu and the others were hunting The Doctor because he had tried to capture Bailu as a test subject.

Asmoday explained that The Doctor had tried to capture Bailu, prompting Barnabas to disband the Fatui. At Aventurine’s IPC trial, Sparkle’s recruitment campaign made Topaz vote to acquit him; after his repaired Cornerstone helped his case, Aventurine was found not guilty and discussed cooperating with Sparkle.

• Asmoday told Barnabas that The Doctor’s attempt to capture Bailu had angered powerful allies, and advised her to disband the Fatui.
• Barnabas ordered The Signora and Childe to separate from the Fatui and declared that the organization would cease to exist.
• Topaz saw Sparkle and Aha recruiting outside IPC headquarters and changed her position, insisting Aventurine be found not guilty rather than risk him joining them.
• Aventurine restored his shattered Cornerstone with ten Equipment Enhancement Scrolls, but Shugju insisted the trial continue.
• The IPC voted seven to three to acquit Aventurine, and Jade announced the verdict.

Aventurine and Sparkle signed a cooperation agreement, while Ye Yun and his companions prepared for the coming battle in Sumeru. Aether’s army broke into Sumeru City and began forcing back its defenders as Aether moved to capture Azar.

• Aventurine agreed to develop tourism and infrastructure around the Grand Theater of Mirth in exchange for Sparkle receiving a 30% stake, then he, Jade, and Topaz headed for the Astral Express.
• Ye Yun returned to his shop with the Six Little Ones, and later saw Stelle, March 7th, Firefly, and Furina feed three piglets in the pocket realm.
• Cyno told Alhaitham that he planned to arrest Azar and bring him before Lesser Lord Kusanali.
• Aether, Ye Yun, the four girls, and the Desert Mercenaries attacked Sumeru City, where the Corps of Thirty and The Doctor’s modified Fatui soldiers resisted them.
• Aether told Rahman to keep advancing while he went inside to capture Azar.

Aether captured Azar while Stelle defeated Scaramouche’s giant mecha and pulled the puppet out, accidentally tearing off one of his legs. After Nahida confirmed the battle was over, Ye Yun and the others returned to the Lottery Shop for the upcoming draw.

• Aether defeated Azar’s guards, knocked Azar unconscious, and tied him up as Scaramouche’s mecha rampaged outside.
• Nahida asked Stelle to confront Scaramouche, and Stelle’s Divine Key: Judgment of Shamash melted the mecha’s fist and brought it crashing down with one strike.
• Stelle pulled Scaramouche from the cockpit and accidentally ripped off his right leg when he tried to escape.
• Nahida told Stelle that Azar and the enemy forces had been dealt with, and Stelle chose to leave for the Lottery Shop draw instead of staying for dinner.
• Ye Yun opened a portal, and the group returned to the crowded Lottery Shop, where everyone awaited the draw.

Kiana reunited with Stelle and joined the group’s plan to visit an internet café after Ye Yun had comforted her about learning she was a clone. Meanwhile, Ruan Mei and Screwllum visited Ye Yun’s shop, where they discovered he sold Aeon Divinities, and the lottery ended with Zhongli winning an Emperor Hero Transformation Device.

• Kiana told Stelle she had been busy fighting Honkai outbreaks and explained that Theresa had given her time to rest.
• Asmoday invited Kiana to an internet café, and Stelle and March 7th decided to join them.
• Herta introduced Ruan Mei and Screwllum to Ye Yun, and Ruan Mei asked whether his shop sold Aeons.
• Ye Yun showed them Aeon Divinities priced in Gold Credits, which cost 100 million Star Coins each; Ruan Mei bought an Irminsul sapling, and Screwllum bought several probes.
• Ye Yun drew lottery number 99, and Zhongli claimed the prize: an Emperor Hero Transformation Device.

Ye Yun revealed a Revival Card Deck as the next prize, prompting several people to spend their Star Coins on lottery tickets while Hu Tao chose not to try to revive her grandfather. Ye Yun then hosted a lively dinner at his shop, where everyone gathered to cook, play, and share a meal.

• Zhongli resisted trying the armor-summoning pose and line, and Ye Yun moved everyone on to the next prize: a deck of six Revival Cards.
• Yae Miko, Jing Yuan, Jingliu, Dan Heng, Blade, Venti, and Kiana bought lottery tickets, while Hu Tao declined because she believed her grandfather would not want to be revived.

• Bailu agreed to return to the Luofu with the other children to help distribute Spirit Cleansing Pills, and Jing Yuan gave Zhongli a pill for his old friend.
• Ye Yun accompanied Zhongli to Azhdaha’s seal, where Azhdaha insulted Zhongli and demanded a fight.
• Zhongli repeatedly struck Azhdaha with Planet Befall, hitting him a hundred times before feeding him the Spirit Cleansing Pill.
• Zhongli brought the recovered Azhdaha to Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, where Hu Tao agreed to take him on.
• Azhdaha created a rock house behind Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, and Hu Tao made him a consultant.

Hu Tao put Azhdaha to work digging sleeping pits for the wandering souls at Wuwang Hill while Huohuo burned incense and scattered joss paper. In Sumeru, Nahida outlined plans to unite the desert and rainforest, treat Eleazar patients, relocate Teyvat to a New World, punish Azar and the other Sages, and prepare for the Sabzeruz Festival.

• Hu Tao led Azhdaha and Huohuo to Wuwang Hill, where Azhdaha dug pits and Huohuo offered incense and joss paper to the disturbed dead.
• Hu Tao told the wandering souls to sleep in the pits instead of drifting around wherever they pleased.
• At a meeting in the Sanctuary of Surasthana, Nahida approved Sage Nafis's request to study the Sacred Tree later and promised to unite the desert and rainforest residents as one people.
• Alhaitham announced pardons for Desert Mercenaries without grave offenses, Akademiya enrollment for desert minors, aid for the desert, and plans to turn it into a forest; Nahida also promised to cure Sumeru's Eleazar patients.
• Nahida told the meeting that Teyvat would relocate to a New World and that Azar and the other five Sages would face punishment in a special prison there.
• Nahida assigned Alhaitham and the others to prepare the Sabzeruz Festival, where she planned to invite special guests, and Cyno asked Alhaitham who those guests were.

Jing Yuan oversaw the distribution of Spirit Cleansing Pills and quelled a crowd demanding their share. In Liyue Harbor, Kiana and Asmoday wreaked havoc with Rocket Launchers in PUBG, and Stelle discovered that Kiana had blown up her car.

• Bailu and the Six Little Ones refined one hundred thousand Spirit Cleansing Pills, and Jing Yuan, Feixiao, and Huaiyan paused production until more herbs matured.
• Jing Yuan ordered Yanqing to arrest the worst troublemakers and announce that every Xianzhou citizen would receive pills once more were ready.
• Yanqing subdued a protester and warned the crowd that further trouble would lead to arrest, after which the citizens dispersed.
• At an internet café in Liyue Harbor, Asmoday and Kiana played PUBG and were blown up by a camper with a Rocket Launcher.
• Stelle suggested using Rocket Launchers against vehicles, and Kiana and Asmoday found eight and destroyed a sedan at the bridge.
• Stelle realized Kiana had killed her with a Rocket Launcher after Stelle herself had suggested the tactic.

Nahida invited Lumine, Stelle, and the others to Sumeru’s most important festival. At Ye Yun’s shop, a teleportation spell brought Jashin-chan into the kitchen, where she immediately got knocked into a wall after trying to scare Xiangling.

• At dinner in Liyue Harbor, Lumine explained why she had become wanted in Inazuma and had avoided the lottery shop.
• Nahida arrived and invited everyone to Sumeru’s most important festival.
• Kiana returned to St. Freya Academy and tried to talk with Sirin, who could not respond because an Athena Valkyrie attacked her whenever she tried.
• Ye Yun returned to his shop with the Six Little Ones and sent them to bathe while Xiangling cooked.
• A magic circle transported Jashin-chan into the kitchen, and Ye Yun introduced her to the shop’s residents.
• Jashin-chan pretended to threaten Xiangling, who struck her with Dragon’s Bane and sent her crashing into the wall.

Jashin-chan visited Ye Yun's shop, where Xiangling fed her and sent her home with steaks, while Yurine confronted her about leaving the heat on. In Fontaine, Furina enjoyed a seaside outing with Lancelot and Clorinde and thought about the coming relocation and the prophecy.

• Jashin-chan pretended to die to trick Xiangling into crying, then got beaten when Xiangling realized she had been photographed.
• Ye Yun explained that Jashin-chan could recover from almost any injury because she had an immortal body, though her combat ability was average.
• Xiangling cooked beef stew with Jashin-chan, then packed her a rack of steaks to take home.
