Chapter Summaries

Jing Yuan told the Seven Arbiter-Generals that Bailu’s Spirit Cleansing Pill could suppress mara, prompting Feixiao to move Yaoqing closer to Luofu and the generals to arrange support for Luofu. After the meeting, Jingliu asked who had tried to capture Bailu, and Jing Yuan quietly arranged for the surveillance around Scalegorge Waterscape to be inspected; the chapter ended with him calling Qingque over just as she hoped to leave work early.

• At the snack shop, Stelle, Hu Tao, Lumine, and March 7th plotted to sneak into Sui Garden again.

• Lumine tried to attack Asmoday, but Asmoday explained that Aether had introduced the Abyss to Khaenri'ah and that sealing Lumine's powers had been meant to prevent more trouble.
• Zhongli confirmed the history of the Khaenri'ah disaster, and Lumine asked Asmoday to open a portal to find Aether, promising that Stelle would help defeat him.
• Stelle, Zhongli, Jing Yuan, and the others entered the Abyss and attacked its forces; Stelle defeated Aether in a clash, and Lumine's group carried him away unconscious.

• Himeko warned Stelle that Aha might not help her when called, and Aha bought a hundred lottery numbers before leaving.
• Qingque gathered Stelle, Hu Tao, and Yelan for a Jade Tiles game after the others returned to their work.

Kafka returned to the train, caught up with Ye Yun, and arranged to get a portal and browse for a coat. After dinner, Stelle and the others went to Sui Garden to explore, where Hu Tao caught a will-o'-the-wisp that revealed a humanlike face.

• Bailu treated Blade and Dan Heng's wounds and warned them not to fight again, stirring memories of Baiheng in both men.

• Stelle and March 7th touched a Suiyang, and Hu Tao had her Great Hilichurl swallow it.
• Guinaifen asked to livestream Hu Tao catching ghosts, and Hu Tao agreed to find another Suiyang.
• Xueyi, Hanya, and Huohuo surrounded the group and ordered Huohuo to escort them out of the Sui Garden.

Hu Tao and the others entered the mirror world to rescue Guinaifen and stop the Suiyang Fuyan, who repeatedly failed to possess anyone before Hu Tao defeated it. After Fuyan was swallowed by Great Hilichurl, Hu Tao and Guinaifen went to check on the frightened Huohuo.

• Hu Tao led the group through a mirror into the mirror world, where she rescued Guinaifen from Fuyan's attempted possession.
• Fuyan tried to possess March 7th, then Stelle, but was repelled and badly burned.
• Fuyan approached the crying Huohuo, where it encountered Tail and mocked him for still being sealed.

Hu Tao reunited with Huohuo and the others, then helped Huohuo build her confidence sealing Suiyang. Hanya asked Hu Tao to mentor Huohuo, and Jing Yuan agreed to support the arrangement, though the group had not yet settled where Huohuo would train.

• Hu Tao comforted Huohuo with a fire-butterfly trick, then used Wangsheng Butterflies to find Stelle, Sushang, and March 7th and lead them out of the netherworld.
• Hu Tao smashed the mirror behind them and helped Huohuo practice sealing several weak Suiyang, while Hanya and Xueyi watched.
• Hanya stopped the group at the exit and asked Hu Tao to mentor Huohuo because Huohuo was more confident exorcising spirits beside her.

Hu Tao took Huohuo from Sui Garden to the Express and brought her to Liyue, where Huohuo began settling into her new life. At a late-night food stall, they met Lumine, Paimon, and Aether, who had recently learned that the Sinner might have targeted him.

• Hanya confirmed with Jing Yuan that Hu Tao could take Huohuo, and Huohuo packed her belongings before leaving Sui Garden with Hu Tao, Stelle, and the others.
• On the starskiff ride, Huohuo was delighted to have left Sui Garden, while Tail watched her happily.
• Back in Liyue, Hu Tao noticed Huohuo was hungry and took her to Old Liu’s grilled fish stall, where he welcomed them and offered them food for free.

Hu Tao settled Huohuo into her room at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, then took her around Liyue Harbor to meet locals and learn the area. The tour ended when Ningguang asked Huohuo which adeptus she served.

• Hu Tao arranged for Huohuo to stay in Asmoday’s former room, where Huohuo unpacked while Old Man Tail explored the room and courtyard.
• The next day, Hu Tao took Huohuo to Wanmin Restaurant, where Master Mao welcomed Huohuo and Hu Tao introduced her to Xiangling.
• Xiangling invited Hu Tao and Huohuo to a seafood feast that evening, made with fish Klee and the others had blasted at Scalegorge Waterscape.
• Hu Tao showed Huohuo around Liyue Harbor and encountered Ningguang inspecting the harbor.

Hu Tao explained that Huohuo needed to learn Liyue’s streets so they could distribute Wangsheng Funeral Parlor flyers, while Jingliu began teaching Yanqing and Yunli the Sword Control Technique. Jing Yuan, Huaiyan, and Feixiao spotted Jingliu, and Jing Yuan reassured Huaiyan that she had retained her sanity after taking the Spirit Cleansing Pill.

• Ningguang welcomed Huohuo to Liyue and learned that she had come with Hu Tao to catch ghosts and exorcise evil.
• Hu Tao gave Huohuo Wangsheng Funeral Parlor flyers and explained that they needed customers to pay for exorcism supplies and living expenses.
• Hu Tao and Huohuo went door to door distributing flyers, and Huohuo soon became more confident and faster than Hu Tao.
• Jingliu stopped Yanqing and Yunli from turning their spar into a serious fight, then offered to teach both of them the Sword Control Technique.

• Feixiao learned that Jingliu had retained her sanity despite becoming Mara-Struck and had taken a Spirit Cleansing Pill.
• Jing Yuan led the visiting generals and their staff onto the Astral Express and found Bailu and the others in the laboratory.
• Bailu gave Feixiao a freshly refined Spirit Cleansing Pill, and Feixiao felt her Moon Madness Syndrome symptoms ease after taking it.
• Feixiao played with Klee, Hook, Diona, and Bailu, and decided she would protect Bailu whenever she could.

After Ye Yun’s crowded seafood dinner, the system rewarded him with a Dungeon Portal and a quest to clear a dungeon. Ye Yun gathered 50 former shop guests, leaving them assembled in the shop as he prepared to explain the new opportunity.
