Chapter Summaries

Fu Xuan, Jing Yuan, and other fighters battled their supposed allies in the CFGO arena as the kill counts climbed. When airdrops began falling, the fight intensified, and March 7th was shot just as she tried to avenge Stelle and Hu Tao.

• Fu Xuan hit Kaeya with a Dendro Bullet, and Jing Yuan killed him with an Electro Bullet before Klee's bomb killed Jing Yuan and Fu Xuan.
• Klee and Diona moved off to search for enemies while Diluc and Gepard attacked Lisa, but Jean ambushed and killed Diluc and Gepard.
• At 500 combined kills, the game entered its second phase and announced airdrops; fighters rushed toward the first crate.
• Amber killed Eula as she ran for the airdrop, and Kafka killed Hu Tao and then Stelle in an alley.

Aha’s tampering with the matchmaking system forced allies to fight each other as the battle royale escalated with new Elemental Weapons. The Defenders won the match, and Ye Yun handed out the Star Coin awards while Aha admitted to causing the chaos.

• Ganyu killed March 7th, Klee eliminated Welt, and the rigged matchups sent allies such as Seele and Bronya into combat against each other.
• Silver Wolf and Kafka reached the air drop, but Kafka defeated Silver Wolf before Klee and Diona ambushed Kafka and claimed the crate.
• Klee used the air drop’s grenade launcher to kill more than a dozen Infiltrators, while Nahida and Zhongli used Elemental Weapons to defeat their opponents.
• After the match ended, Aha revealed that it had paid to tamper with matchmaking, and the participants glared at it as Seele tried to attack.

After the match, Ye Yun awarded Klee the MVP prize and brought everyone back to his shop, where they prepared for a large communal dinner. The evening began with the group splitting off to eat, drink, and play games.

• Silver Wolf and Hu Tao teased Kafka and Xiangling with their winnings, while Paimon and Yunli celebrated theirs by naming snacks and skewers.

• Childe and The Signora ate breakfast in Liyue Harbor, and The Signora told Childe that the Tsaritsa was arriving that day and they would welcome her.
• Klee met Qiqi and Yaoyao, then invited Hook, Bailu, and Diona to join them in making Xiao Lanterns.
• Yaoyao led the Six Little Ones toward the wilderness to find good bamboo, while Leos followed to keep them safe.

• Asmoday asked Nahida to check on the other gods, then remembered she had promised Ningguang dinner on the Treasure Ship and welcomed Silver Wolf to the gaming room.
• At Liyue Harbor, Barnabas greeted Ei and Yae Miko, and Yae Miko declined to explore with her so she could visit old friends.
• Yae Miko found Ei stopping to eat Sugar-Coated Hawthorn Skewers, paid for them because Ei had no money, and escorted her past more food stalls.
• In Qiaoying Village, Furina sampled an elderly woman's Flower Cake and bought the entire supply to share with her friends.
• Clorinde rented a carriage, loaded Furina's Flower Cake into it, and drove Furina toward Liyue Harbor.

Barnabas visited the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Internet Cafe with The Signora and Childe, where he discovered that Asmoday was staying there and being served lunch by Nahida. After Barnabas told his companions that the past had been wiped clean and they should follow orders, Nahida watched Guinaifen and Sushang perform a chest-smashing act and secretly protected Sushang.

• Barnabas heard The Signora and Childe report that they had kept the Fatui under control, then asked about visitors from Another World and went to see the internet cafe.
• The Signora led Barnabas to her Esports Room, where he heard Nahida offer to buy lunch for Asmoday and recognized the familiar voice inside.
• Nahida told Barnabas that Asmoday worked as a consultant for Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, and Barnabas confirmed to The Signora and Childe that Asmoday was there.
• Barnabas told The Signora and Childe that the past had been wiped clean and that they should obey the arrangements, then they entered the room to play games.
• Nahida went to Old Liu's stall for grilled Chihu Fish, saw Guinaifen and Sushang performing a chest-smashing act, and secretly used divine power to protect Sushang as Guinaifen broke the stone slab.

Nahida warned Guinaifen and Sushang against dangerous performances after secretly protecting Sushang, then returned to find Asmoday challenging Barnabas in a game. Elsewhere, six little ones gathered bamboo to make Lantern Rite lanterns, while Stelle and her companions dug for treasure near Dihua Marsh and broke through into ruins.

• Nahida told Guinaifen and Sushang she had protected Sushang during their performance, cautioned them against dangerous stunts, and left to buy food.
• Nahida returned to Asmoday's esports room and saw Asmoday playing a solo match against The Tsaritsa Loving Again, whom she recognized as Barnabas.
• Yaoyao led Klee, Bailu, Hook, Diona, and Qiqi in cutting and carrying bamboo to Liyue Harbor, where Madame Ping taught them to make Lantern Rite lanterns.
• Hu Tao took Stelle, March 7th, and Lumine to an abandoned village near Dihua Marsh to search for buried chests, and Stelle uncovered three luxurious chests containing 30 Primogems.

Stelle and her group explored an underwater ruin, finding salt statues, a hidden chamber, and several ancient objects before returning toward Liyue Harbor. Meanwhile, Ningguang prepared the Treasure Ship for the Lantern Rite banquet and welcomed its first guests, including The Old Guard, Topaz, and Jade.

• Stelle led Hu Tao, March 7th, Lumine, and the others into an underwater ancient city, where they found streets lined with lifelike salt statues fleeing a distant fortress.
• Stelle cut through the fortress gate with the Divine Key: Judgment of Shamash, and the group found a chamber packed with salt people and a broken sword, which Hu Tao judged might sell as an antique.
• The group split up to search the passages, and Seele defeated Hilichurls before finding a ruler and a bronze tripod containing salt.
• After about three hours, the teams reunited in a chamber with a small pile of salt, then left the ruins and drove toward Liyue Harbor.
• Ningguang oversaw preparations for the Lantern Rite banquet aboard the Treasure Ship and welcomed Ye Yun, Welt, Zhongli, Jing Yuan, Huaiyan, and Jiaoqiu.

• Cloud Retainer, Xiao, Madame Ping, Shenhe, Yanfei, and the Six Little Ones arrived at the Treasure Ship as preparations for the Lantern Rite continued.
• Bailu learned that Qiqi was a zombie with a poor memory, checked her pulse, and brought her to Ye Yun for help.

During the Lantern Rite, Zhongli identified Seele’s Salt treasures and explained the history of Stelle’s broken sword. Stelle then tricked Childe into paying five million Mora for the sword, and Childe joined the Jade Tiles game.

• Seele asked Zhongli about the Salt Scale and Salt Goblet, and he said they could produce several hundred tons of salt despite their diminished powers.
• Zhongli told Stelle that her ordinary iron sword had supposedly killed the Salt Archon, Havria, but that its history would be difficult to prove.
• Stelle, Seele, and the others began playing Jade Tiles after Qingque arrived, while Asmoday welcomed Barnabas, The Signora, and Childe aboard the Treasure Ship.
• Childe stepped on Stelle’s sword, and Stelle demanded three million Mora, claiming it was the weapon that killed Havria.

Yae Miko accompanied Ei to Asmoday’s banquet, where they met Furina and Clorinde and traveled to the Treasure Ship. After arriving, Ei headed for the pastries while Furina and the others joined the lively gathering as dinner was served.

• Stelle, Lumine, and Qingque taught Childe Jade Tiles while planning to take advantage of his inexperience, and Barnabas noted that Childe had blended in with the group.
• At Liyue Harbor, Yae Miko found Ei sharing Flower Cakes with Furina, who said she had bought them in Qingce Village.
