The Rakshasa God fell silent.
She toyed with the exquisite little mirror in her hand as the Angel God's suggestion echoed through her divine soul.
Strengthen this body?
It did sound like a good idea.
She raised the mirror again and carefully examined the breathtakingly beautiful face reflected within.
Tsk.
It really was perfect.
After struggling with it for a moment, she finally deflated and put the mirror back into her Soul Tool.
"Forget it."
The Rakshasa God's voice rang out over the "internal channel," carrying a resigned sense of dejection.
"I'll just eat slowly and recover slowly. That's fine."
"Hm?"
Now it was the Angel God's turn not to understand. Her cool voice carried a trace of surprise.
"Why? Splitting off some divine power to strengthen the physical body shouldn't be difficult for you, should it?"
"Didn't you just complain that this body was too weak to contain the energy in god-grade dishes?"
The Rakshasa God merely gave a bitter smile.
She extended her right hand, palm up. A wisp of purple-black energy, finer than a strand of hair, slowly gathered and swirled above her fair palm.
That energy was dark, ominous, and filled with an evil aura that made one's heart tremble.
"It isn't difficult."
The Rakshasa God's voice turned bitter as well.
"But I'm worried that if Rakshasa Divine Power interferes with this body too much, then I'm afraid..."
She paused, seemingly searching for the right words.
"I'm afraid I won't be able to preserve this face. It'll change."
"Change?"
The Angel God was even more confused.
"What kind of change?"
"You should have seen what I looked like back in the God Realm, right?" The Rakshasa God did not answer directly, instead asking a question in return.
