The black ancient coffin shook violently.
The next second, the lid exploded, and a withered arm, skeletal as a chicken's claw, slowly reached out from inside.
Then Xiao Ze and Yun Yun saw the true owner of the coffin.
He was as gaunt as a skeleton, his features so eroded by time that they were barely recognizable. His skin was shriveled like dead grass, clinging tightly to every bone.
His flesh was gone, leaving only a layer of dry skin. Through that rough hide, the two could even see every one of his organs and every meridian.

The skeletal figure tottered out of the coffin.
He looked terrifying, like a dried corpse, yet his laughter rang out with astonishing force. Every booming laugh made the entire hall tremble violently.

He opened his mouth and sucked in a breath. The five magical beast corpses placed in the corner of the hall seemed to have their blood and vitality drained away, withering at a visible speed.
Each beast had been as large as a small mountain, but now only its hide remained.
Their flesh and vitality became a mass of blood.
The bony old man before them swallowed it in one gulp.
"My vitality... it's returned!" His cold laugh echoed through the ancient hall as his corpse-like body visibly began to recover.
Before long, he had gone from a dried corpse to a man who looked almost normal.
He was very old, with a head of white hair and a stooped frame. Countless wrinkles, carved by the erosion of time, lined his skin. He looked like a man on the verge of death, as if
