Inside the room, the four of them took their seats, pulling their chairs into a tight circle.
This situation... why did Wen Nan find it so familiar?
Ah, right, wasn't this his old daily routine—the "Patient Support Group" meeting!
Wen Nan adjusted himself into a comfortable position on his chair and looked at his three roommates, who were all sitting in increasingly bizarre postures. He took the initiative to ask, "You guys... how did you get 'soiled'?"
The three of them exchanged glances, eventually wearing expressions of indescribable bitterness as they began to sigh.
In this game, the term "soiled" was used to describe players who had been "reverse-romanced" by female ghost bosses. Of course, applying it to Fatty, Glasses, and the Athlete wasn't quite accurate, as the three of them hadn't chosen female ghost bosses, but neutral NPCs.
However, who could have guessed that a neutral NPC could be so terrifying?
The Athlete sitting across from Wen Nan spoke first:
"I'm a jock by nature, and I maxed out my Agility. I figured with my build and physique, if I played a little ball with the guy I chose, I wouldn't end up at a disadvantage. After all, that guy likes to sing and dance, so his basketball skills must be trash, right?"
"But what happened? Sigh..."
"I was pinned to the ground and rubbed into the floor for three hours!"
"The scariest part was that in the last five minutes, my maxed-out Agility buff expired... I barely made it back in time."
The Athlete tugged at his tattered sportswear. As he spoke, his eyes turned red, and tears welled up, threatening to spill over at any moment.
Fatty glanced at the Athlete's shredded clothes and let out a long sigh. "You call that bad? Look on the bright side, your clothes are ruined, but at least that's better than me—my ass is ruined."
Hearing this, the Athlete's gaze fell on Fatty's backside, and he stared intently. "You..."
Suddenly realizing something, the Athlete's expression shifted to one of sudden enlightenment. "That pig-like squealing coming from the teacher's office earlier... that was you?"
Fatty gave the Athlete a mournful look and wailed:
"My test paper only had 9 points. I was so terrified that before I went to the office, I secretly used a red pen to change it to 69.
"I didn't dare change it too much, just enough to barely pass. Who knew... the total was 150! 69 still wasn't a passing grade!
"In a fit of anger, I blurted out the truth... the head teacher went ballistic on the spot..."
As he spoke, Fatty stretched out his arms to gesture. "A pointer this—long! She used every ounce of her strength to whip my ass!"
"I had my armor maxed out, but it still hurt so much I was twitching. I was counting down the seconds in my head, wondering when it would end."
"I could see the last five minutes approaching, but who knew... who knew... the Newbie Gift Pack duration would run out! These neutral NPCs are even scarier than those... those female students! If I'd known, I would've chosen the school beauty! I'd rather be bitten to death by the school beauty than beaten to death by the head teacher..."
Fatty began to bawl, and the sound of pig-like squealing filled the dormitory once again.
On the other side, the guy with glasses remained calm. He sat motionless on his chair like a statue, appearing completely composed.
However, if one looked closely, it was easy to see that this composure was merely a facade. His hollow eyes revealed deep, profound despair, and his slightly trembling body betrayed the extreme terror hidden within his heart.
"I was such a fool, truly..."
Glasses' simple opening line immediately earned the respect of the other three—in this competition of misery, this single sentence had already secured him the championship.
Under the inquisitive and sympathetic gazes of the others, Glasses forced a tearful expression and continued:
"When that brother gave me a bar of soap and invited me to the bathhouse, I knew something was wrong."
"I knew I couldn't escape this ordeal, but I thought, I maxed out my Strength. With these muscles, which clearly took two years of gym work to build, surely I'd be the one on top... that should be fine, right?"
"Who knew... in their circle, the better your physique, the flatter you lie... ugh."
At this point, Glasses couldn't continue. He covered his mouth, a whimpering sound escaping his throat.
Fatty patted his shoulder sympathetically. "Look on the bright side, you only suffered in the 'chrysanthemum' region, while my entire gluteal region was rained upon equally."
Glasses looked at Fatty with deep resentment. "How about we swap?"
Fatty immediately shook his head and decided to try a different way to comfort him. "You've come out the other side of the bitterness, at least. Regardless, you two spent a pleasant night together, right? Your mission score and the target's affection level must be high, right? Unlike me, whose progress is nowhere in sight."
Hearing this, Glasses began to whimper again. "I thought so too, that after sacrificing so much, I'd at least satisfy the other party and get some progress points. But... I threw it all away in the last five minutes."
"My newbie buff expired, I reverted to my original form, and that brother took one look at me, cursed 'Skinny dog!', and left in disgust... he just left!"
Fatty patted him again, wanting to offer more comfort, but found he didn't know what to say. His own backside was still throbbing, and he had no heart to talk further.
Finally, the three of them looked at Wen Nan, hoping to find some solace from him. "Didn't you choose five targets at once? Don't you have anything to share with us?"
Wen Nan wanted to "fit in," but as the three of them talked, he realized he couldn't get a word in.
Now, facing their eager, expectant gazes, Wen Nan cleared his throat and recounted the two "Shura fields" he had experienced.
When he finished, the dormitory fell into an eerie silence.
The other three looked at Wen Nan in disbelief.
"That's it?"
"That's it?"
"That's it?"
Wen Nan wanted to say that this was already the artistically embellished version, but the other three refused to accept his explanation.
"I don't believe a word of it! How could you possibly handle five people at once so smoothly?"
"Did you use a Safety Bubble and just hide in some bathroom the whole time, never actually showing up to the meeting?"
"If you keep acting like this, you'll never get any affection points! Let alone complete the main quest!"
"Why bother, man? The final tally is coming up right now, so why are you still trying to act tough and lie through your teeth? No matter how much you make up now, the system will reveal your score in a moment, and you'll be exposed immediately!"
Wen Nan was a bit bewildered. "But everything I said is the truth."
The other three were about to gang up on him again when the countdown on the light screen above them finally hit zero.
