This quest lasted a total of 36 hours. It was eight on Saturday morning, so the players had to finish it promptly at eight on Sunday evening, then make it back to the refresh point during the settlement countdown that followed.
In other words, they had an entire night to do as they pleased...
The four people in the dorm reacted in different ways when they saw the quest description.
Huang Tao picked up a basketball, the muscles in his arm bulging as he looked ready to crush it.
Shao Ling let out a strange whimper and frantically searched the system for protective measures for certain special occasions.
The chubby guy remembered he had a [Safety Bubble], and his expression eased a little. But then he recalled the homeroom teacher's riding crop and couldn't help bursting into tears.
Only Wen Nan remained calm, even curling his lips into a pleased smile.
This was exactly the kind of quest he'd been hoping for.
As Main Quest 2 officially began, all four livestreams in the [Community] corresponding to this Trial Zone lit up at once.
In an instant, [Nine Times a Night's Livestream] surged to over 20,000 viewers, and the comments began flooding in--

The morning exercise bell rang in the dorm.
It was Saturday, so there were no classes in theory, but they were graduating students and had an extra half-day of classes. Morning exercises, however, were optional.
Huang Tao and Shao Ling headed to the sports field, one after the other. Only the chubby guy and Wen Nan remained in the dorm.
The chubby guy sidled up to Wen Nan with a grin. "Boss, where are you going?"
Wen Nan clearly had no intention of doing morning exercises. With his hands in his pockets, he strolled toward the door. "Going to have a look around Campus Romance."
The chubby guy's expression changed.
He didn't want to wander around Campus Romance. Every nook and cranny there could be hiding a female ghost. But he'd already decided to stick with Wen Nan. Seeing his golden goose about to disappear from sight, he gritted his teeth and hurried after him.
Campus Romance by day wasn't as creepy as it was at night, but it wasn't much better.
The whole campus was deserted. Not a soul was in sight.
At night, the darkness had at least provided some cover. Now, in broad daylight, the sun blazed down, and the route from the dorm to the classroom building was clearly visible: dark red bloodstains covered the ground, while heaps of animal carcasses had been crushed into mush and stuck to the pavement, fur and entrails mixed together.
A few pieces of exercise equipment stood in the flower beds, mottled with rust. They swayed in the windless air, creaking shrilly.
The chubby guy darted glances all around, trembling from head to toe, his teeth chattering. He edged closer and closer to Wen Nan until he was practically clinging to him.
Wen Nan endured it for a while, then finally stopped and turned to look at him. "It's so hot. Aren't you uncomfortable standing this close to me?"
The chubby guy asked in a small voice, "Boss, this campus is so creepy... Aren't you scared?"
Wen Nan looked around, then shrugged. "Not really. It's a pretty nice environment."
The chubby guy stared at him in disbelief, feeling a new sense of admiration rise within him. This was probably the difference between a big shot and a newbie like him. That courage, that composure—rock solid!
He was just about to heap on a few more compliments when, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a white-clad figure with long, loose hair. The chubby guy turned and bolted, screaming, "Mom! Help!"
Wen Nan glanced at the chubby guy's rapidly retreating figure. When he turned back, he saw a familiar person walking toward him.
"Ye Jiu." Wu Yuwei stopped in front of him. "Could we... talk again?"
Wen Nan thought for a moment, then shook his head. "There's nothing to talk about. I made myself pretty clear yesterday."
"You..." Wu Yuwei's eyes reddened, a glimmer of tears in them. "I waited for you all night. I just wanted to talk for a little while. You won't even give me that chance?"
Wen Nan shook his head. "I told you, we're not right for each other."
Tears blurred Wu Yuwei's vision, as if they were about to fall at any moment. She pressed him in a trembling voice, "You really... have to treat me this way? How can you be... so heartless?"
Wen Nan's expression stayed indifferent, but his words were icy. "I don't like you. You can't force affection. Stop pestering me."
With that, Wen Nan walked around Wu Yuwei and headed straight for the classroom building.
Wu Yuwei's tearful cry rang out behind him. "Ye Jiu! You'll regret this!"
Wen Nan didn't look back. The corners of his mouth slowly lifted.
