At first, the only streamers broadcasting Outlast in Shark TV's gaming section were those familiar with Nebula Games.
But after some streamers tried it out, they found that it made for pretty good content. Both their viewership and popularity increased, and the chat in their streams became especially dense whenever they played the game.
That drew even more streamers to broadcast it. After all, it was their job, and Outlast was clearly an excellent game for streaming.
Click into any streamer's channel, and you would basically hear heart-wrenching screams.
"I'm not playing anymore! I'm done! My locker moved!"
"No! Daddy, I was wrong! Please spare me!"
"Why is that fat guy chasing me again? How the hell do I get out of this Sewer?"
"Looking for a fuse in the women's ward? In complete darkness? I'm out of Batteries! Does anyone know the way? Help me!"
"Where's the gun?! Why isn't there a gun?! Give me a gun!"
"Fuck, I fucked a chihuahua! That guy in the wheelchair scared me to death! You didn't move when I came over, but the second I left, you pulled this on me!"
In the major streamers' channels, the screams while playing Outlast could only be described as utterly miserable.
You could clip any random moment and turn it into material.
At the same time, viewers who had been watching streams but knew nothing about Outlast grew curious about the game.
Just like those players on the forums before, they all shared the same thought: Was this game really that scary?
But once they entered the game and tried it for themselves, they immediately went Sparta.
Because the game was even more terrifying than they had imagined.
