Temporarily setting aside his obsession with Elizabeth, Song Ren cautiously felt his way forward.

Guided by a strange man named Atlas over the radio, Song Ren began exploring City of Rapture.

"This guy's pretty polite. He uses honorifics the whole time."

As Song Ren explored City of Rapture, he could not help but sigh.

This was probably the most respectful NPC he had encountered since he started playing games.

Although Atlas was merely guiding him, every sentence included the polite phrase, "Would you be so kind," making Song Ren feel a little embarrassed.

As Song Ren continued exploring City of Rapture, he felt the contrast more and more strongly.

The buildings in the underwater metropolis were exceptionally exquisite, yet they were also dilapidated, with leaks everywhere.

The dreamlike neon signs lining the streets stood in stark contrast to the corpses and bloodstains beside them.

The languid singing from the bar's jukebox was pleasant to hear, while the clownish sound effects from the vending machines were incredibly eerie. The first time he heard them, Song Ren nearly jumped out
