The back-to-back release of the BioShock: Infinite and BioShock: City of Rapture duology sparked heated discussion among players.
In the final City of Rapture story, unlike Infinite, which had only one ending thread, there was actually another bad ending.
That was, if players chose not to protect the Little Sisters in the game, but instead chose to harvest Adam from them.
They would ultimately fall into a bad end, and Jack would become the tyrant of City of Rapture just like Fontaine.
Still, despite the bad ending, most players basically achieved a good ending during their playthroughs.
After all, compared to the small amount of Adam they could obtain from the Little Sisters, more players chose to save the adorable girls.
For even more players, though, their focus was on Elizabeth in the game.
Seeing Elizabeth still alive had originally given them hope.
But what awaited them in the end was despair.
Especially after players had gone through so much with Elizabeth in the game and formed an emotional bond with her, that blatantly obvious knife stabbed straight in, leaving many of them unable to catch their breath.
