Then they had to ask for rice three times in a row to trigger the later persimmon-craving storyline. After that, the rice given to Sekiro changed from ordinary rice into rice for Kuro.

Taking the rice to Kuro earned a Sweet Rice Ball. Only after eating it and commenting on its flavor could the subsequent quest continue.

Obtaining a book called "Return to the Dragon's Home" at Senpou Temple unlocked a new way to deal with the Dragon's Heritage.
