For DOTA, the next step was to make good use of various holidays, launching corresponding events while releasing new heroes that had not yet been announced.

After that, Talent Mode, neutral items, and equipment such as the Shimmering Cloak, Eternal Disk, Dragon Lance, and more could be gradually introduced as players gained a deeper understanding of DOTA.

Besides that, Chen Xu planned to establish two dedicated project teams for additional DOTA modes.

One would be OMG Mode, otherwise known as Skill Draft. Players would randomly receive hero models, then select their own skills and ultimate abilities from the corresponding skill pool.

The other would be IMBA Mode. In this mode, hero skills would become incredibly powerful, even capable of instantly killing enemies.

There would also be modes like the Acceleration Mode from the previous bot challenge, where players gained experience and gold much faster than in the original version.

These modes were mainly intended to give more casual players a way to relax. After all, not every player enjoyed high-intensity competition.

Of course, these modes would not be released anytime soon. The ranked ladder had only just gone live, and DOTA itself still had plenty of interesting content for most players, even relatively casual ones.
