Having resolved the problem of their side having zero technical combat capability, Fang Ran put away his phone and spent a second enjoying the spaciousness of the open-plan office and the comfort of its expensive sofa.
He flipped through the materials from the meeting to reinforce his memory, thinking over the various situations the department heads had told him about, then asked Adeline beside him:
"What's next? Of the three areas targeted by the Covenant, which is in the worst shape right now?"
"Before we move on to the next item on the agenda."
Raising her slender, fair wrist, Adeline checked the time on her dazzling, pearl-encrusted watch face, then looked at Fang Ran and reminded him:
"Young Master, how about lunch first?"
He froze the instant he heard that. He had flown from Imperial Manor to Los Angeles on a private jet that morning, spent the whole morning shopping with his class,
then immediately rushed to the tech group to deal with the information security threat. Including the meeting, it was already nearly two in the afternoon.
Only then did Fang Ran remember that he had not even eaten lunch.
"I have already reserved a restaurant for you. Shall we leave now?"
