Sunlight slanted down as the afternoon began amid the growing shadows of the trees.
He stayed by the girl's side until the bell for the Examination Hall rang again.
"This should be the place, right?"
Having followed Hugin to the next trace of The Cabin, Fang Ran floated down in front of a building.
Jing University—Cultural Activities Center.
This was where Jing University held all kinds of events: lectures, debates, club performances, award ceremonies, and the like.
As the nation's foremost institution with its vast campus, Jing University actually had several similar venues.
But unfortunately, since he so often became a missing person on campus,
neither version of Fang Ran had ever visited one.
Looking at the Cultural Activities Building before him, a place he was visiting for the first time, Fang Ran recalled the figure Hugin had seen enter it not long ago.
He followed the many hurried students running inside and entered the building as well.
Perhaps because of its position, he could not find that figure through the windows. And since he knew nothing about the inside of the building, he had no idea where she might be.
He could not exactly send Hugin and Munin flying through the building to search for someone. After wandering around several times without finding anything,
Fang Ran finally realized this method probably would not work.
So he could only use that method again.
Looking at the maze-like interior and the many students passing by, he decided to resort to his ultimate ability.
After finding a secluded corner and removing his transparent disguise, he quickly picked out a target.
Fang Ran directly activated his ability on a female student!
"Hello, excuse me. Could I bother you for a moment and ask you something?"
