Fang Ran jolted awake from the sofa, utterly bewildered. He blankly looked around for two seconds before slowly remembering that he had gone from Magic City to Tokyo,
then boarded a plane at Narita in the middle of the night.
Ah. Damn, too much had happened yesterday. His brain could barely keep up.
"Good morning, sir. You're awake."
A calm, capable male voice sounded from the living room cabin door. Fang Ran turned and saw the man who had arranged for them to board last night.
"Ah, yeah."
"It is now 8:14 in the morning. We have arrived above our destination and are circling as we descend. Would you like me to prepare breakfast for the three of you?"
The man calmly and objectively explained the situation, giving off the feeling of a dependable assistant who had everything neatly arranged.

He shook his head hard, then silently looked at the two people beside him. One wore letter I pajamas, the other an orange Little Buried Cloak. With the heater on, both had kicked their blankets aside.
"Hey, wake up! Yota, Sister Cheng Zi, stop sleeping! We're here, the sun's already shining on your butts!"
"Fang Ran... you're lying... The eight o'clock sun... huff... can't possibly shine on anyone's butt."
