Charging into the air above the battlefield atop the Silver Wolf, Fang Ran's vision finally went black amid the swirling currents.
Then came a dizzying sensation of space spinning around him.
Fang Ran felt himself fall into a cramped space, landing on top of someone. He could smell a pleasant fragrance.
The chaos from his earlier overthinking still lingered in his mind, as if he were still on that A-rank battlefield they had never been qualified to take part in.
The pressure of leaping toward that line of death still left his breathing ragged and unsettled.
Then he barely pushed himself up and opened his eyes. Once his vision steadied, Fang Ran slowly made out the figure beneath him. Her formal dress with its emerald-green bow tie was scratched and disheveled.
Her delicate, fair face, paired with her wildly scattered golden hair, possessed a different kind of beauty.
Leaning against the door, Osphia struggled to open her eyes at that moment as well. Her azure gaze met the young man's in front of her.

They were too close, and the space was too cramped. Realizing that their bodies were in far too intimate a position,
Fang Ran's eyes slowly widened, and he immediately realized something was wrong as he tried to get up.
But the plane's cramped space forced him into an extremely awkward posture. Just as he tried to rise,
his legs, exhausted from his earlier full-force burst, suddenly trembled. Instead, he slipped and fell forward again.
As he felt himself press against Osphia's shoulder and brush against a strand of brilliant golden hair, he smelled that fragrance even more clearly this time. One side of his face vaguely sensed the soft edge beneath him.
