He gently stroked his chest. The ferocious wound sealed shut in an instant, and he closed his eyes in concentration.

The long banner in his hand swayed along with the sedan chair, sending out invisible ripples of sound. The weird creatures within a thousand meters sensed it and scattered in shrieking panic.
