When Yun Xi heard Obito mistake him for Itachi, a faint smile appeared on his face.

But Yun Xi didn't explain. He continued his assault on Obito!

"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique."

After seeing Obito dodge his Amaterasu with Kamui, Yun Xi launched another attack.

Having read the original story, Yun Xi naturally understood Kamui's greatest weakness.

That was, whenever Obito absorbed or released another object, he had to become tangible. He couldn't remain intangible.

And because he had to focus chakra in his eye to use Kamui, he was left extremely vulnerable to attacks.

In essence, Kamui was a high-level Space-Time Ninjutsu. Its fundamental ability was to transfer any object between the real world and another dimension.

Yun Xi's attack didn't injure Obito.

This had greatly expanded his options in battle, making him one of the shinobi in Konoha who knew the most jutsu—second only to the Third Hokage.

Facing Obito's counterattack, Yun Xi quickly formed Hand Seals and used a defensive Earth Style jutsu to block it.

A basketball-sized ball of lightning formed in Yun Xi's hand amid flashes of purple light.

It moved so quickly that Obito barely had time to react.

He took the attack head-on!

"Damn it! I won't let you get away next time!"

A trace of blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, and anger flashed across Obito's face.

But seeing the battle raging nearby, he didn't continue fighting Yun Xi.

After leaving him with a threat, Obito used Kamui to escape...

"He's gone?" Yun Xi watched Obito disappear but made no move to stop him.

Without Obito's help, Uchiha Itachi probably wouldn't be able to carry out the clan's downfall on his own.

And Yun Xi wasn't skilled in Space-Time Ninjutsu. With his current strength alone, he couldn't stop Obito if he was determined to escape.

For these reasons, Yun Xi didn't try to forcefully stop him.

At first, Yun Xi had fought Obito simply to make him wary.

After all, discovering that there was a mysterious Kage Level shinobi in Konoha would surely make Obito more cautious in his next moves.

He hadn't expected Danzo to get involved in the conflict from the very beginning.

Although Danzo had been the first to suggest wiping out the Uchiha Clan, and had caused Shisui Uchiha's death,

he later threatened Itachi using Sasuke's life. But in the original story, Danzo wasn't shown taking part in this incident.

Even his Root shinobi only appeared on the battlefield after Uchiha Itachi had finished wiping out the clan.

And after collecting the Uchiha Clan's eyes, they disappeared at once.

The Anbu had even handled the cleanup afterward.

But what Yun Xi saw before him told him that things had already changed from how they'd unfolded in the original story.

From the very beginning of the Uchiha Clan Downfall Incident, Danzo had been involved!

"Could holding Obito back have caused a butterfly effect?"
