Rebecca's Determination!

"Looks like getting the Diamond Lance is impossible." The moment Cavendish finished speaking, his opponent's lance shattered into tiny pieces. Jaldoa then collapsed along with it.

"I will never tolerate the existence of anyone who tries to outshine me..." Cavendish said handsomely.

"Wow, Lord Cavendish really is more handsome!" the female spectators and noble ladies in the stands cried. Not only women—even the men had been captivated by Cavendish.

Meanwhile, Rebecca was fighting alone, surrounded by several burly gladiators. They wielded spiked hammers, enormous swords, and all sorts of strange weapons as they attacked her.

"Rebecca, I'll be the one to defeat you!"

"No, I'll be the one to defeat Rebecca!"

Everyone scrambled to be the first to take Rebecca down.

"This is truly unexpected! Detested Rebecca has become the best prey for contestants seeking fame. It is only a matter of time before she is defeated..." the announcer commented at just the right moment.

Suddenly, a longsword slashed straight at Rebecca's head from behind. Rebecca swiftly turned and blocked the attack, but at the very instant she turned, the enemy in front of her lunged at her.

Rebecca no longer had the strength to defend against that attack. After falling to the ground, she immediately got back up and rejoined the fight, narrowly dodging another burly gladiator's attack.

That was how it was: more than half the people in the arena were attacking Rebecca alone, gradually forcing her toward the edge of the ring. Beneath the edge lay a circular pool filled with enormous, vicious man-eating fish. Rebecca was now only one step away from it. If she retreated any farther, she would fall into that piranha-filled pool and be bitten into a bloody mess.

"Cut her down from the stage!" the other gladiators said excitedly, their eyes gleaming
