"Leave it to me!" Bartolomeo sprang out from within the giant Toy Soldier and charged between the explosive shells and Luffy, using his body to shield Luffy. The bombs slammed into Bartolomeo with a series of booming explosions.

Cavendish, below, was stunned by the sight. "Where did your barrier go?!"

After being blasted, Bartolomeo fell to the ground. Cavendish immediately ran over and said, "Hey! Bartolomeo, what are you doing?!"

Bartolomeo, sprawled on the ground, caught his breath and coughed. "The area of barrier I can use at once is limited. I'm using all of it on the stairs right now. But this is enough! As long as I can help Luffy-senpai, I can die without regrets, yeah!" Bartolomeo shouted.

Cavendish looked at Luffy's retreating back as he ran upward and said helplessly, "You really are beyond saving. Until your barrier recovers, I'll fight by your side. Pull yourself together."

Before they could finish speaking, several Toy Soldiers came crawling toward them with thunderous rumbles. "These dolls have absolutely no sense of beauty!" Cavendish complained.

"Five Trees, Slap!" At that moment, five hands suddenly sprouted from the Toy Soldier in front of Cavendish. With a boom, the Toy Soldier was slapped flying by the five hands that had grown from its body.

Cavendish immediately turned toward Robin. "Nico Robin!"

Robin, who was carrying them on her back, said, "I understand how you feel, Chicken Can."

"Our captain is worth risking our lives for," Robin said seriously. Bartolomeo paused upon hearing those words, then smiled and nodded firmly.

"Luffy will always be our trump card for victory. Mil Fleur: Gigantesco Mano!" Several giant hands suddenly sprouted from the ground and slapped away the Toy Soldiers trying to chase Luffy. "I won't let you interfere with Luffy!"

"That's right, yeah!" Bartolomeo said
