Doflamingo's Father

Donquixote Homming Saint was shocked when he heard this. He fled into the forest with his family of four.

"Stop! Don't let them get away!" A large crowd of citizens chased after them with torches in hand.

During their escape, Doflamingo tripped and fell to the ground. He looked at his father with deep resentment. "Father, why are we being hunted?"

As they fled, they finally found a shack in a garbage dump.

"At least we have somewhere to shelter from the wind and rain. Thank goodness. The news about us probably hasn't reached this area yet, so let's hide here for now," Donquixote Homming Saint said.

"How am I supposed to live in a filthy place like this? There are bugs inside, and the whole place stinks so badly I'm going to throw up!" Doflamingo said.

Thus, the family of four endured a night in that tiny shack. Their mother slept with Corazon in her arms, while Homming Saint fell asleep sprawled over the table. Doflamingo sat on the floor nearby and slept soundly.

By then, the citizens had already searched their way into the area.

"Find that family! They should still be nearby! Kill them the moment you find them!"

Hearing those voices, Homming Saint jolted awake and said, "Everyone, run!"

After running to another place, Homming Saint called on a Transponder Snail and said to the person on the other end, "I never thought things would turn out like this. I was too naive. Please, I'll do anything. Even if you only let my wife and children return to Mary Geoise... At this rate, our entire family will die."
