Background / History

Qi Yan'er is the daughter of Qi Fan. She grew up hearing her father’s unusual teachings, treasures, cultivation methods, and blunt judgments of other people. She began cultivating at four and had already reached the Fifth Stage of Dou Qi by age seven. 14

During an encounter with mercenaries, Yan'er protected Nalan Yanran after the latter was drugged and nearly abducted. She exposed Mo Li’s cowardice after he fled from an Eight-Star Dou Zhe, then traveled with Nalan Yanran and Ge Ye toward Wu Tan City. 5 6

At the Xiao Clan, Yan'er publicly called herself “Sister Yanran’s daughter” to aid the annulment dispute. Though the claim was later admitted to be temporary, she anticipated that the rumor would spread throughout the Jia Ma Empire. 10 16

Yan'er began searching for her mother during her travels.
