"Brother Hatake, what do you think lies on the other side of the ocean?"
Wantuluo asked the fifteen or sixteen-year-old youth beside him with curiosity.
"I once heard our teacher say that the Ninja World lies over there, about 120,000 kilometers away from our Sea Realm."
"If we calculate based on an elite jonin's speed of 120 kilometers per hour, it would take about 42 days to run there," Hatake said after a moment of contemplation.
"That would be exhausting. Even though an elite jonin can reach 120 kilometers per hour, it's impossible to maintain that speed indefinitely. I estimate that even an elite jonin would need to rest after running for less than an hour."
Wanhualuo smiled, her dimples appearing and disappearing. Her smile was so sweet and innocent that it brought a sense of warmth and peace. Although Wanhualuo was only ten years old, one could already see the beauty she would grow into.
Wantuluo asked Wanhualuo curiously, "Little sister, can't your Byakugan see as far as Dad's? Can you see if that world over there is any different from ours?"
Hearing Wantuluo's question, Wanhualuo shook her head helplessly. "Brother, do you really think I'm Dad? My Byakugan can't see that far. Why are you so interested in that world today?"
Wantuluo chuckled. "The world is so big, I want to go see it! Although the Sea Realm is vast, there isn't much fun to be had here. Besides, don't you think our town is tiny? It only has a few hundred thousand people, and most of them are outsiders."
Hatake reminded him, "Wantuluo, I recall that the teacher and the others also came here from the Ninja World."
Wantuluo exclaimed in surprise, "Is that so? How come I've never heard of that?"
Wanhualuo rolled her eyes at Wantuluo. "Brother, that's because you're always sleeping during class. You never listen carefully."
Wantuluo slumped lazily and said dismissively, "I already knew what the teacher was teaching. Who knew he would suddenly start talking about the history of our town?"
"Little Luo and Little Hua, I heard that you two are using Shadow Clones to attend class now. You have quite the nerve!"
Just then, Qinshou descended from the sky. After her feet touched the ground, the two wings on her back slowly vanished.
"Ah, why is Mom here!" Wantuluo cried out in surprise.
"If I didn't come, you two siblings would probably fly off to the heavens. And you, Hatake. How could you bring them out to skip class? Do you think that just because you've become a jonin, you can do whatever you want?"
Qinshou looked at Hatake with murderous intent in her eyes.
"T-Teacher, this has nothing to do with me! I just happened to run into these two siblings here. I had no idea they were skipping class."
With that, Hatake immediately took off, his speed approaching that of an elite jonin.
"Ouch, Mom! Why did you hit me but not my sister!" Wantuluo wailed.
"Because you are the older brother!" Qinshou said expressionlessly.
Ninja World.
Otsutsuki Hagoromo was now forty-eight years old, and Otsutsuki Yuhao was forty. Although Otsutsuki Hagoromo was still in his prime, he had begun to feel that if another ten years passed, his strength would start to decline until he could no longer suppress the Ten-Tails within his body. If he were to die, the Ten-Tails would escape his body, ultimately becoming a catastrophe for the entire Ninja World.
Otsutsuki Hagoromo had already divided the Ten-Tails into nine parts, each portion of Ten-Tails chakra transforming into a massive tailed beast, ranging from the One-Tail to the Nine-Tails. Nine tailed beasts, each ten meters long, appeared between heaven and earth, radiating vast amounts of chakra.
"Brother Hagoromo, why did you separate the Ten-Tails from your body so quickly?"
After sensing the rapid decline in his brother Otsutsuki Hagoromo's aura, Otsutsuki Yuhao used Flying Thunder Might to arrive at the scene, only to find the nine infant-stage tailed beasts before him. Otsutsuki Yuhao remembered that in the original story, the Sage of Six Paths had only separated the Ten-Tails in his twilight years. Yet, the current Otsutsuki Hagoromo was still in his prime; he shouldn't have separated it so soon.
"Heh, the Ten-Tails is fine, I suppose! It gave me more chakra and great power, but it is, after all, an external force. If I had kept the Ten-Tails, my strength would never have been able to advance further. Although I am forty-eight, which is considered old for an ordinary person, I possess the bloodline of the Otsutsuki. At forty-eight, I am equivalent to a person in their twenties."
"In other words, I still have plenty of room for improvement."
Otsutsuki Hagoromo said to Otsutsuki Tatsuten, his face somewhat pale.
"That's right, Brother Hagoromo, you're still very young! So, how should we handle these Tailed Beasts?"
Otsutsuki Yuhao looked at the Tailed Beasts floating in mid-air, still deep in slumber.
"Let's just leave them with me for now. I need to teach them to shed their wild nature before considering anything else," Otsutsuki Hagoromo said after a moment of contemplation.
"Brother Hagoromo, would you mind if I took some of the Tailed Beasts' chakra?"
As he spoke, Otsutsuki Yuhao used his Rinnegan to absorb chakra from the nine Tailed Beasts, taking roughly one-tenth from each.
This way, it wouldn't affect the fundamental power source of the Tailed Beasts.
Otsutsuki Hagoromo felt quite helpless watching this, but upon realizing that Otsutsuki Yuhao had only taken a tenth of their chakra, he didn't say anything.
In truth, Otsutsuki Yuhao hadn't given him any opportunity to refuse.
The chakra of the nine Tailed Beasts flowed into Otsutsuki Yuhao's body, coalescing into the power of the Ten-Tails; this amount was equivalent to more than ten percent of a peak Ten-Tails' total chakra.
"Yuhao, it's been ten years! Your power has increased quite a bit!"
Otsutsuki Hagoromo looked at Otsutsuki Tatsuten with some surprise. He had assumed that once Otsutsuki Yuhao reached the Six Paths Realm, he would, like himself, find it difficult to make any further significant progress.
But even without entering Six Paths Mode, Otsutsuki Yuhao already possessed the formidable aura of the third stage of the Six Paths Realm—a chakra presence equivalent to roughly eight Grandmasters emanated from his body.
This left Otsutsuki Hagoromo astonished; compared to ten years ago, Otsutsuki Yuhao was more than several times stronger.
"Hahaha, it's actually not as simple as you think. I've just been dedicating my other training time to taijutsu; my ninjutsu is still about the same as before."
Sunlight reflected off Otsutsuki Yuhao's face, and his previously furrowed brow gradually smoothed out, replaced by a smile full of wisdom and maturity.
"I see, so your ninjutsu has reached its limit, but your taijutsu hasn't—there is still plenty of room for growth. I understand now!"
A sharp glint flashed through Otsutsuki Hagoromo's Rinnegan.
