Charlotte stood at the harbor and gazed out at the sea for a while.
The diary in his arms remained still. He knew he had not yet truly taken control of Saint Michael's Island.
The ships still remaining on Saint Michael's Island were controlled by pirates from the second and third tiers, as well as slave traders and underground merchants. These people did not believe anyone could successfully rebel on Saint Michael's Island, so few had fled.
Charlotte had moved quickly and seized control of nearly ninety percent of the ships. He had Ban Lamorak command all the vessels and transport a batch of freed slaves to Cappadocia City.
The fleet under Ban Lamorak's command had just vanished beyond the horizon.
Charlotte looked at the empty Saint Michael Harbor, where not a single ship remained, and smiled faintly.
His reason for having Ban Lamorak sail away with all the ships was not primarily to transport slaves, but to deliver every vessel to Senior Menilman.

If they wished to join Senior Menilman or Charlotte's own forces, that would naturally be even more convenient.
As for Saint Michael's pirates, he would not bother mentioning the lower-ranking ones. Though some of them had committed evil deeds, there would not be many, and Charlotte had no ability to judge them one by one. He would screen them roughly, then send them all to Machu Picchu and incorporate them into his West Wind Knight Regiment.
