Well, it could no longer be called an island. From the sea, its coastline stretched on without end, making it practically a continent. If Charlotte had not calculated the route and confirmed that they had not yet reached the New Continent and were still in the Agres Sea, he might have suspected they had arrived at the New Continent.
Standing aboard the Holy Light Divine Kingdom, Charlotte gazed over the land. Its coast was all shallow sandy beach, clearly unsuitable for large ships to dock. The fleet could only anchor far offshore. Beyond the long stretch of beach rose towering cliffs, upon which a temple had been built.
The previous two labyrinths had both been palace-like, but this one was a temple, which struck Charlotte as rather strange. He silently wondered, Had Agmilas captured the domain of some evil god again?
This time, Charlotte had brought Agon and Kratos with him. They took a small boat and went ashore.
The moment he stepped onto land, the diary in his arms sent out a thought: Charlot Mecklenburg is about to begin the challenge of the third labyrinth—the Golden Temple. It had originally enshrined Ranududu, the God of Gold and Wealth. After Ranududu was torn apart by three evil gods, His temple became ownerless.
Charlotte, Kratos, and Agon climbed up the cliffs and saw a bustling little city. Centered around the Golden Temple, it had a thriving market built around it. Behind the temple, there were even buildings resembling government offices. People came and went through the small city, which brimmed with the breath of everyday life.
Though he had received no hints, Charlotte could tell that the residents of this little city were all ordinary humans. They were no different from the
