Charlotte was slightly surprised, then suddenly understood. "He had only rules, no reason?"
Juno smiled faintly. "More or less."
Charlotte suddenly thought of the Joy God. Though He was also an evil god, He was clearly not powerful enough to be called "mighty."
There were Thirty-Six Great Evil Gods on the New Continent, but in reality, there were more than just thirty-six evil gods.
Charlotte pondered for a while, then recalled the storm at sea. Shaking his head, he said, "He can't be that weak. He can control storms and summon mist..."
Juno also showed a look of sudden realization. He and Charlotte exchanged glances and shouted together, "There are two evil gods!"
Charlotte quickly said, "It should be the evil god controlling the storm that trapped this mist evil god. We were lured here by one of them, who intended to use us as bait."
Juno nodded approvingly. "Your guess makes a lot of sense. That's what I think too!"
Charlotte gazed at the increasingly dense mist outside and smiled faintly. "Coincidentally, I know a little mist magic too."
Layers of gently rippling mist first spread from the Swan Lake, then shrouded several nearby Ghost Ships. Each Ghost Ship enveloped by the mist added another measure of power, and the mist spread toward the other vessels. Before long, it had covered the entire fleet and began expanding outward.
Charlotte was only High Rank. Although he could manipulate mist, its power could not possibly compare to that of an evil god. However, he had Labyrinthized all the Ghost Ships. Every one of them could provide him with a portion of power, increasing the strength of his mist.
The two masses of mist seemed alive as they pressed, crushed, overlaid, and resisted one another in the air, their boundaries utterly distinct.
