Charlotte held Anne in his arms, filled with happiness.

Charlotte said softly, "Early tomorrow morning, we still have to return to the palace and ask Father-in-law and Princess Axo for permission to return to Mecklenburg."

Anne nodded. She knew that from now on, she would spend most of her time neither in Strasbourg nor in either of their territories. She would only follow her husband to Mecklenburg and help him govern the Duchy of Mecklen.

Charlotte smiled faintly and chatted with Anne about their future plans. Suddenly, the room dimmed slightly, and a voice sounded beside his ear. "Charlot Mecklenburg, please bring your wife and prepare to attend the gathering."
