Charlotte believed that as long as he put in the effort, he could truly master the Throwing Knife Technique. Even after taking off Cat's Mask, he would still be able to use it skillfully.

Charlotte kept at it until night had fully fallen. He put away Cat's Mask and the assassin's dagger, satisfied with his practice. He estimated that in another ten-odd days, he would be able to use throwing knives in actual combat.

He had to use Blood Flame Qi to control the throwing knives and recall them afterward. Blood Flame Qi had a limited range when controlling weapons; beyond that range, the connection would be lost. This prevented him from attacking at full strength, and the knives would become much slower.
Of course, the solution was simple. He could buy a batch of ordinary throwing knives and have no intention of recovering them. Blood Flame Qi could instead amplify their power and increase their speed.
An even better solution would be to commission a set of Transcendent throwing knives that could return automatically...
