• Charlotte and Anne Brittany tracked Yang Mills to a magic-item auction, where Charlotte secretly placed a tracking beetle on him.

Charlotte fled Strasbourg, gathered a band of adventurers, and became entangled in Lord Leo’s plot against Grand Duke Ferdinand. At Machu Picchu, Charlotte activated the labyrinth and turned against Lord Leo when Menilman Soumei appeared.

• Charlotte cultivated Blood Flame Qi, refused to betray Menilman Soumei, and escaped Kilmainham Prison after Magru Teller dismissed him and threatened him.
• Charlotte killed Wells, fled Strasbourg, and joined the Great Axe Adventurer Group under the name Qian Nan.
• Charlotte traded Louis Smythe the Spear of Sharlons for Blood Rose and two hundred Écu, then recruited more than a hundred adventurers with a fabricated treasure-map story.

• Charlotte transferred to the military, received the Magru Teller investigation, and returned to Machu Picchu to rescue Mason and the other adventurers from the labyrinth.
• Charlotte settled the adventurers into the abandoned Lucavaro City Patrol office, arranged official identities and salaries for them, and took command of newly transferred officers.
• Aubrey Teuton Atwood confronted Charlotte and proposed a public duel, while Vinnie Arsenault warned that Addison’s older brother was a High-Order Transcendent.
• Charlotte killed an assassin sent after him, discovered the Cat’s Mask, and mastered a blood flame transformation that let him evade physical attacks and fly briefly.
