Li Yu's eyes had already widened to perfect circles, with ten thousand alpacas stampeding through his heart. "As a scientific researcher serving my country, I'd have to work myself to the bone for half my life in a big city just to earn seventy years of residence in a tiny apartment a few hundred square meters in size."

Here, they were directly giving them ninety thousand square kilometers of land. One square kilometer equaled one million square meters; factoring in spatial utilization, they could construct a trillion square meters' worth of high-rise buildings on it.

One of the Pusino People took out a scanner and swept it over Ōtsutsuki Isshiki and Li Yu.

"A-rank clearance. You may choose a high-grade palace."

"A high-grade palace?"

"There are only ten high-grade palaces on the planet. Each occupies two hundred thousand square kilometers, and two are currently vacant."

"True God, please come with me. I'll show you their locations."

They walked down a long elevated corridor. Looking at the varied palace structures within the holographic display below, Li Yu's eyes were nearly dazzled.

"Both palaces are located on two small islands in the ocean, in the Eastern Hemisphere."

The Pusino Person pointed downward with his little hand. In the holographic sand-table projection, a gigantic palace sat halfway up a mountain on one island. A dense forest lay at the foot of the mountain, with a huge lake in the middle of it.

The other island also had a lake and forest, but it was closer to the tropics. Its palace stood between the beach and the forest, closer to the sea.

"This one, then." Given the choice between the two, Ōtsutsuki Isshiki made his decision without hesitation: the palace halfway up the mountain. This was also Li Yu's preference.
