A Perilous Journey (1)

Under the blue sky, beside a babbling stream and on a stretch of green grass, Li Yu lay back in a lounge chair with his eyes closed, utterly at ease.

"Master, have some grapes."

"Tired? I'll massage your legs."

Alice and Jessie hovered attentively at Li Yu's sides, waiting on him.

"No need. Come lie here with me and relax for a while," Li Yu said, patting his chest.

"Mm." The two women obediently sat on the lounge chair and leaned against Li Yu's shoulders on either side.

"What about that sister? Shouldn't we do something about her?" Alice asked softly.

"No need. The space isn't that big—she can't get lost."

"Master, weren't you doing a mission? Why did you come in here?"

"I missed you two, so I came in to slack off," Li Yu said, lightly pinching both women around their waists.

"That tickles!"

"Hehe!"

Once Li Yu and Ōtsutsuki Yamei felt that their location was safe, Li Yu suggested entering the space to hide, so he simply opened a spatial passage.

As for asking Li Yu to save the others? Not a chance. The team itself had no cohesion, let alone combat strength. There was a high chance that he would end up facing the enemy alone and be forced to cover their retreat.

"Hey, Zi Yu, apart from flowers, mountains, and grassland, there's nothing in your space."

Li Yu stopped fooling around and calmly looked at Ōtsutsuki Yamei, who had returned from scouting the mountains.

"What are you trying to say?"

"Young Master Kazuhiro has no fewer than a hundred human women serving him in his space, along with five elves. He keeps dozens of mermaids in the water, and there's even a human city the size of a town, plus three or four beastfolk tribes.
