"Young Clan Head, we have captured the people."
Yu, who was meditating, slowly opened his eyes. A flash of cyan light flickered within them.
"Break their silence as quickly as possible, secure all the evidence, and then deliver a thunderous blow to those old fogies."
"Yes, Young Clan Head!" Uchiha Lieyang bowed, a trace of excitement flashing in his eyes.
"By the way, how are the preparations for the medical clinic coming along, and who is specifically in charge?" Yu asked softly.
"Reporting to the Young Clan Head, the pharmacists cultivated within the clan have already entered production mode. Once the elixirs you have been working on are completed, the clinic can open tomorrow. The person primarily in charge is Sosuke of the Twelve Guardians."
Yu smiled slightly. "Sosuke, is it? He is a steady Uchiha. In that case, once this matter is settled, let us have a grand opening! It is time to show the outside world a different side of the Uchiha."
"Yes, Young Clan Head! I imagine that once your elixirs are released, the entire Shinobi World will be quite shocked!" Uchiha Lieyang felt an increasingly strong sense of anticipation for the future of the Uchiha.
He truly wanted to see just how far the Uchiha could go under the leadership of this youth who seemed like a god; his thoughts were so intense that his right eye began to ache faintly.
Konoha, Root.
Danzo listened to his subordinate's report with a gloomy expression.
"So, you failed to get the people back."
"Lord Danzo! This subordinate is incompetent!" The Root ninja knelt before Danzo, not daring to even breathe loudly.
"The specific reasons!" Danzo asked, his eyes glinting with a cold, sinister light.
"The dozen or so Uchiha enforcing the law at the Military Police Force all possessed Three Tomoe Sharingan. Our captain sensed he was outmatched, and since public opinion was not on the side of the Anbu at the time, the captain could not withstand the pressure and let them go," the Root ninja briefly described the scene.
Danzo stood up from his chair abruptly. "What! You say the dozen Uchiha enforcing the law all had Three Tomoe Sharingan!" A flicker of fear flashed in Danzo's eyes.
"Yes, Lord Danzo! If it had been the previous enforcement officers of the Military Police Force, the captain would not have thought twice about them."
"This won't do. I must go find Sarutobi. The Uchiha of today have completely slipped out of Konoha's control." Having said this, Danzo ignored the kneeling Root ninja and hurried toward the Hokage Building.
Just as he entered the Hokage Building, he saw that Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura had already arrived.
"Sarutobi, the Uchiha clan is simply too arrogant. You must absolutely stop indulging them!"
Danzo ignored the three silent people and voiced his own thoughts.
Sarutobi did not answer Danzo immediately, instead silently puffing on his pipe.
The entire conference room fell into an eerie atmosphere.
"Danzo, it is no longer a question of whether we should suppress the Uchiha or not; it is a matter of finding a way to clean up your mess as quickly as possible."
"Danzo, tell me honestly, do the missing children in the village have anything to do with you?"
At this moment, Sarutobi's voice was incredibly low.
"Sarutobi, what do you mean? You agreed to the human experiments!" Danzo narrowed his eyes.
"Yes! It is all my fault. I should never have agreed to this matter, to the point where you actually dared to use the village's children for experiments!" As he spoke, Sarutobi's suppressed anger finally erupted.
"Everything is for Konoha, for the village! What does a little darkness like this matter?" Danzo insisted stubbornly.
"Fine, fine! So this is your 'for the village'!" Sarutobi threw a stack of documents into Danzo's face.
Danzo picked them up, only to see the seal of the Military Police Force on every page. The content of the documents made Danzo's pupils contract involuntarily.
"Why was the Military Police Force's action so fast?" Danzo asked in disbelief.
Meanwhile, beside the bulletin board of the Military Police Force, the crowd was already seething with indignation.
The Military Police Force's operation today was massive; nearly half of the villagers in Konoha knew about it. The large-scale arrest of human traffickers was not limited to just the marketplace.
The Military Police Force had dismantled no fewer than five human trafficking dens. There were dozens of criminals from various hideouts, and naturally, there were places where resistance was fierce, leading to several intense clashes.
However, with the Uchiha leading almost every team with Three Tomoe Sharingan, not a single trafficker escaped. Over thirty children were rescued, some of whom were from ninja families.
Such a large-scale operation could not be hidden, so when the Military Police Force finished their sweep, a large number of citizens followed them back.
They had expected it to take some time for the Military Police Force to uncover the truth, yet in less than half a day, the results were announced.
The reason the Uchiha were able to interrogate the suspects so quickly had to do with the twelve clan members who possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan. One of them possessed the Mangekyō ocular technique known as Kyoka Suigetsu. This form of infinite hypnosis meant that even if a prisoner knew the power of the Uchiha Sharingan and tried to close their eyes to refuse to confess, they were helpless.
Under the invisible hypnosis of Kyoka Suigetsu, they spilled the beans one by one, revealing every criminal fact.
With this, the Uchiha Military Police Force recorded all the testimonies and used them to find all the criminal evidence. A complete chain of child abduction appeared before everyone's eyes, and all the criminal facts pointed directly to the high-ranking officials of Konoha.
The Uchiha had no intention of cleaning up the mess for Konoha's leadership; they directly published the entire criminal process and submitted an arrest warrant to the Third Hokage.
At this moment, on a small hill not far from the village, a large number of Uchiha ninjas had directly surrounded the slope located within Konoha's Forest of Death.
Behind them were a large number of clan ninjas, as well as some civilian ninjas.
The Uchiha did not hide their actions; after making the facts public, a large number of Military Police officers had rushed directly to the scene.
"Captain Lieyang, after scouting, this is the place!" an Uchiha reported to Uchiha Lieyang, who stood at the site.
"Send out the clan members with strong sensory ranges. Find the entrance to this place as quickly as possible," Uchiha Lieyang ordered with a cold face.
"Yes!" The Uchiha ninjas moved with efficiency.
Under the tense gaze of the surrounding ninjas, the Uchiha soon found the entrance to the secret base.
Uchiha Lieyang did not hesitate and led the main force directly into the secret base.
The ninjas from other clans exchanged glances before following without hesitation. Even now, they struggled to believe that those who abducted their children were connected to Konoha's upper echelons, but the evidence provided by the Uchiha was far too substantial to refute.
Furthermore, they could not ignore the reality of the children from several clans being locked in cages right before their eyes. It was well known that every clan had expended vast amounts of manpower and resources over the years searching for their mysteriously missing children.
Yet, every lead had pointed toward ninja factions outside the village, ultimately forcing them to let the matters drop.
However, upon entering the experimental base, they were met with a bone-chilling sight: rows of cylindrical glass tanks standing in the vast hall, filled with green liquid in which tiny bodies were submerged. Among them were members of the Aburame Clan, the Yamanaka Clan, the Hyuga... it covered nearly every clan in Konoha.
There were also many children of commoners; counting them one by one, there were no fewer than a hundred corpses. This scene plunged every clan ninja and commoner ninja present into a heavy silence.
Hyuga Hiashi, in particular, felt his heart tremble uncontrollably when he saw a young Hyuga girl dissected into a specimen inside one of the tanks.
He still remembered when an uncle from the Main Branch had rushed over in a panic, claiming his daughter had gone missing. The entire clan had been in an uproar over the incident at the time, and they had spent a year investigating without finding a single trace.
To this day, the incident remained a festering wound for the Hyuga. The disappearance of a Branch Family member was not a major concern—after all, with the Caged Bird Seal, the Hyuga did not fear others plundering their bloodline.
But the Main Branch was a different matter entirely. Yet, here stood Hiashi, staring at his own niece, looking at the little girl split in two and the missing pair of eyes.
Hyuga Hiashi's breathing grew ragged, and he clenched his fists so tightly they turned white. He dared not imagine the agony his niece had endured in this place.
