Just as Natasha was about to ask something, a string of greetings suddenly sounded from behind them.
Nalant and Natasha both froze, then turned to look behind them.
Stella, draped in a snow-white cape and surrounded by a group of little maids, had already arrived before them.
"Sir Nalant, it seems this expedition has been very leisurely and pleasant for you. Not only did you have a luncheon of roasted meat and fine wine, but you even had a great beauty at your side!" Before Nalant could offer a greeting, Stella's voice, tinged with frost, reached him.
"Cough, cough!" Nalant was left helpless by those suddenly icy words. This did not sound like the way a cold and aloof goddess ought to greet someone.
After coughing dryly twice, Nalant spoke with a wry smile. "Miss Stella, we haven't left Fire Dragon Castle Fortress yet, so I thought I'd take this chance to reward the subordinates who performed well!"
