After removing the badge, Andrew examined it for a moment and found nothing unusual. Only then did he turn his attention to the bamboo tube.
He immediately spotted the opening and took out a tiny slip of paper from inside.
At the sight of that slip, the young nobles all revealed looks of surprise and craned their necks in anticipation.
